>Over looking SKINNY
oh, well either way, same thing
>but the chances of a fight starting at all gets reduced too
dunno about this, sounds like you're getting overconfident, which is dangerous
>I still have those moves in my nervous system
sure, but practicing them constantly would let you win a fight more easily and with less chance of injury.
>Except for those stupid dance moves, the forms I mean. Dangun and whatever.
see, this is what i mean. if you don't care about them that's fine, i'm not judging you or whatever, but most eastern (except stuff from thailand and around) feature these tyoe of things, like forms or philosophy. if you don't like them then you won't really enjoy the martial art, since forms get more complex the further the belt.
>even if you think I'm not worthy of it
not at all what i said! i simply suggested you to leave it since you don't sound to be much into its core sthings, forms and philosophy, after all i'm just a white belt who's obsessed with taekwondo (yes, i'm reading the encyclopedia and watching videos every day). maybe tell an instructor about how you feel and maybe he'll be able to give you better advice.
>I also don't really think I'd lose my flexibility just for gaining more muscle
the thing is dumbbells let you gain a lot of muscle, unlike calisthenics or other forms of training, which are more focused on your overall strength, and at the end you'll flexibility will be affected
