Has anyone here ever worked at an Amazon fulfillment center?

I heard they don't do interviews. That true?

I need a job where I can stand still in one place and be left alone to do a mind numbingly boring and repetitive task for the entire shift because I hate interacting with people and having to do random things on the whim of the manager. Do they have roles like that at Amazon?

Yeah, my gf worked there for a month. No interviews and the work is exactly like you want, you only do the one thing

I did a few summers ago for a few weeks. Pay is good, plus its 10 hours x 4 days a week. You'll probably feel dead by the end of your shifts. I got something going on with my arm so i really wish i had some percys or weed. Also depends on the managers. You would either be packing the pods/crates which is why better imo, or taking packs and boxes off the conveyor belt which fucking sucks... Neither you'll be standing still. If you can get by with some good running shoes, theyll probably say you need those special protected toe shoes. Packing the pods you can usually sneak earphones under a hoodie.

For interviews its very short, they just ask you a few questions then say your hired

Another thing it had me thinking some sort of stimulant like 3mmc or something would make it so much easier (whether its smoking out of a pipe on your breaks or just in general, i felt like i didn't have enough energy to get thru the shifts) I live in a big busy city tho. Either way, having stimulant small dose would have been so helpful

I made mistake. I don't have fulfillment center near me. It's a sortation center (the fuck with companies and these gay ass names). It's 10 miles away. So an easy hour bus ride. It says they have 15 shifts available that start on November 26. I need to apply fast before they're all taken.

Are the hours different with the sortation center? And the types of jobs. They're claiming 4 hour shifts.

I don't really care what I'll be doing as long as it's not actually lifting 50 pound shit the ENTIRE time. Oh, and I have no social skills so I do not want to be interacting with people besides asking where shit goes or if I have a problem with something.

If they can't see anything on camera, they'll accuse you of circumventing security measures and sue you for $5,000 for damages.

Worked at one when I was 18. Boring as fuck. Night shift was miserable. Pay was shit. Hard getting hours. Oddly high number niggers for coworkers, despite living in one of the whitest states. No interview. Just need to pass a drug test.
