That's a Marsh Rabbit. They swim only if it's absolutely necessary. They don't enjoy it sadly.

Also some trivia: as far as I know, rabbits do not even take baths inside water to clean themselves and it may harm them if you submerge them into water under normal circumstances. Instead, they lick their own fur for bath, just like cats.

If somehow the bun gets dirty bathing is literally the last thing on the list. A damped cloth is preferred for cleaning instead. But if bath is somewhat inevitable, it is advised to keep a warm level at their feet level for showering.

Anonymous No.5052486 [Report]
>>5052103
Depends. There is definitely individual personalities that override any generalizations, however in general larger breeds are more chill than smaller ones. A big factor is early socialization. If a rabbit is raised to be used to chilling on your lap, it will be. If you neglect your rabbit until it's fully grown and then one day decide you want it to chill on your lap... it's very likely not going to.

it’s not unusual but i have taken care of him autistically and some illness came to mind, so i checked his teeth and they were in great shape and his bladder works normally (shit coming out as usual and they look like perfect little marbles which is as it should be)
>>5053414
no trouble getting around he’s just quite tired but today after i put him in the litterbox myself he stayed there for a while and later went there by himself again so i hope he’s getting it now again
he could be just so old that he simply doesn’t remember or want to go into the litterbox
i will be getting that old folk litterbox for sure, thanks for the tip

Good, honestly the friendliest breed that my wife and I have raised so far. Their temper is very laid back especially as they get older, and dont fuss as much as other breeds at all about being handled. On the downside they are prone to certain eye conditions and may have a bit more mobility issues later in life, so only raise if you plan to give them a big enclosure or even free roam. Also, do not mistake their adult laziness with wanting to be isolated. Do often repay their calmness with attention. If you can do that, they are the sweetest companions

Are bunnies actually any fun as pets? they scare me. i sometimes feed my neighbors cats and bunny when his family is on holidays and the bunny scares me. It's so fast and unpredictable and erratic in its movement and doesn't seem interactive at all. Feels like it might bite your hand when you're feeding it salad while their cats are so sweet and cuddly.
Anonymous No.5063075 [Report]
>>5063047
Anecdotes of my bunny: Not only does he not bite, he's extremely careful with me. I can feed him individual pellets and he will pluck them from my fingers with his teeth without accidentally chomping me. If he wants attention he'll come up and ask for it. If I go over to him and try to poke or pet him when he's not in the mood I'll get a disapproving thump. It took him a few months to get comfortable with me, but now he usually wakes up close to me where I can just pull the blanket over him too and cuddle him by massaging his cheek. They are fast as fuck though and will make the most of the space given. A lot of people call it the "bunny 500" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHzSOsLRot8

Imo as a prey animal I think my bun is cuddlier than my brother's cat. The worst I'll get from mine is a foot stomp while the cat will try to bite me or scratch me if its annoyed. Although buns can bite if you're a real piece of shit and the thing's scared for its life. Most of the day mine is very mellow though and just acts like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCdvf4vaAPw
