whatever your routine is, you seem to have it figured out. i can a multi-decade use out of some pair of shoes! they seem like nice ones!
it seems, for me, when i buy the lesser priced NIKE shows, i get less than a decade out of them.
'red wings' if they are not a regional thing seem to last longer than the NIKEs. redwings used to be wholly US made but I think they been sneaking some out overseas.
i get the red wings for work with the anti-airport technology so i get reminded not to wear them through the terminal.
