WHY DO WOMEN ALWAYS FORGET THE TIMES YOU'VE HELPED THEM? Not the first time it happens to me. I've saved their lives and a year later they're acting cold like we're barely acquaintances and would throw me under the bus in a fit of rage or pettiness. It's like you don't build "credits" with them, no honor, any kind of money, attention or help I gave them now has zero value and they are fine with me dying now, I don't see a trace of regret in them.

I think it's because so many people help them.

I actually went out with a girl, then she ghosted me. Then I ran into her (it's a small town) and I was cool about it and she mentioned that she was in the process of moving. So I said I have a truck maybe I could help.

I show up on saturday. Her brother helps me load up some furniture in my truck and his truck, and we move her into her apartment. Afterwards, I didn't want to make it weird by hanging out so I just left.

Years later - like probably 5 years later maybe - I've continued to run into her and her friends and we've chatted and been friendly. Someone makes a joke about ikea and I ask her if she still has that ikea chair.

She looks at me like a creep - she was seriously considering the possibility that I was breaking into her house at night or stalking her or something. I remind her, "I helped you move once, remember"

She does not. She seemingly has no memory of that event.

I think we tend to feel some kind of 'debt' even to our enemies when they happen to help us in some way or do something we consider honorable like for example watching them help an old lady cross a street, we kinda put the feud aside. I've never had them feel indebted to me, not even financially, I lend money to a couple friends when they were at a low point and a year later they just blocked me. A guy would at least invite me some drinks once he gets his footing back.

Women firmware is designed to just accept things from men. Because in the caveman days the men would go hunt the mammoths and the women would just be given food for the sake of being women.

It's the number one reason why you can't buy your way into a woman's heart. Money helps because women like resources, sure, but they don't love men for their money, they love the money, and with no fault divorce they can just ditch the man and take the money.

So don't buy a woman's affections, it just doesn't work. You can't simp for them. You can't gift them. It *literally* doesn't work.

Honor is a societal trait. You need to have enough honorable people in society so that you can reasonably trust that if you spend all your time making pottery there will be money you can exchange those pots for in order to buy food. If you can't get food from the pottery because nobody is honorable enough, well fuck it, you'll hunt it and grow it yourself.

Honor is also attached to reputation. If you have a reputation as an honorable dealmaker, more people are going to be inclined to do business with you.

What kept women honorable was stigma, slut-shaming, and making divorce a very bad thing that nobody wants unless they absolutely have to.
