1) I like new toys, i had some issues with this one and there was a sale that was way too good to pass on.

2) Any controller would have been really different.
I think I can make it work with some effort, I feel like I can resize everything individually and maybe get rid of things that were added just to fill blank space.
Now its not all bad, If I can pull this off I think in the end more of it will be visible overall and not blocked by buttons and I dont have to play around screw holes, Start, Select etc buttons.
The main difference is that the original was meant to cover an entire controller and what I have to do now is cover a single panel so there is quite the size difference.

I dont think it'll be too difficult to make this work. Most of it really does come down to just sizing things down.
The problem for the most part is just the three top images. Specifically the one on the far right.
The row below them can go if needed, those were mostly to fill space, some of the right side could go as well. Specifically the one where she wakes up from a nightmare, that thing is very out of place and to fill space where nothing else worked or made sense.
Playing around the buttons makes sizing shit down easier as well because it gives bit of a visual guide in a way I can't explain. Things need to crop just enough where the cutouts looks natural while not blocking anything important.

They are which is pretty funny considering I hadn't thought of them until a pretty late stage.
When I first added them to the .psd things just kind of clicked, looking at this the solution might be to have them at the bottom instead of the top or rearrange them. That said those panels were fucking massive so there's a lot of resizing room one can do without the fear of quality loss.
