The chill stuff has it's place. I use a lot of D2 Music.
I tend to separate playlists based on tone. From calmer stuff for in towns, to mysterious stuff in dungeons, to heavy stuff in hectic boss fights.
You don't play Through the Fire and Flames when the PCs are shopping after all lol
