In light of the events of the last few months, I think I might be done with stocks for good. PM schizos were right: there is no plan to fix anything and the government is just going to keep inflating nominal asset prices while everything goes to shit. Long term, neither the US dollar, stock market, nor even the government itself have any future. We're just going to keep getting weaker and more corrupt until finally we get BTFO by some foreign power, probably in a war. I don't know how long that will take, but the writing is on the wall, and when it happens all these stocks are going to be worthless. Physical PMs allow me to still profit from the currency debasement of this dying empire, much like how In would with stocks, but I still get to keep my money when it all goes kaput.
