Right now I'm pulling stuff out of plastic tote bins and placing or tossing it, and taking notes on ideas that come up, like organizers and storage, replacements, additions, etc. I don't want it to take this long, but I also don't want to just shove everything into other spots and just moving the mess. I think it might be cool to publicize this work somehow too, I see crafty people online that make solutions, I could make similar ones and post videos about it. I have a 3D printer which opens up a lot of options too. But it's hard to live with the mess and take my time. I'm not sure what to do.

I quit drinking after my birthday on Monday. It occurred to me that if I don't slow down or stop, I'll be in trouble in a few years when all of the doctors are completely reliant on ChatGPT to know fucking anything. Literally daily. Suicide too. I pass the days away making her feel like she is a piece of shit. She is in tears most days. I am convinced I am insane. I feel horrible treating her this way but I am also compelled nearly hourly to remind her how awful what she did is. The marriage, at least the portion after her dalliance, has involved children, the death of my siblings, the care and death of my parents, her breast cancer, career building, private schools, travel athletic teams, charity work, etc. The reality is that our stagnant relationship would have ended 23 years ago naturally without this fissure. I am just be lazy and find it too easy to rip her apart. I will be heading out to PA soon because she wants to see my uncle who is dying of cancer. She is a good person, me not so much. My mother would tell me that she was too young to have the type of relationship that I was trying to have with her (cradle to grave); my father had told me to either forgive her, or do not forgive her, but don’t torture her by punishing her — I did not listen to either of them unfortunately.
