They're completely indifferent to it and can't understand it, it's not actively hated like trading cards or anything, it's like walking down the street and seeing a fruit on a tree. If they don't know what the fruit is they don't care, it's not there in their mind.

It will only become cared about if it's implied to be hers in some way, or if it carries social status in the future.

One of the things that happened during this time was, apu posting went to all time highs and we got a lot of rare pepes everywhere, in a short amount of time. It was glorious. This is a very specific thing for specific people, I wouldn't expect it to command a premium. Kind of a low-liquidity piece if it's not a coin, so it makes sense that they sell just like rounds do.

Absolutely. Go to the bank and ask for rolls of coins. Maybe ask for rolls of dimes, quarters and halves.
I was at the bank one day and a saw what instantly knew to be a 90% silver half in the tellers change tray on the counter, just from seeing the pure silvery white edge of the coin stacked next to modern stuff.. She let me buy it from her for face value.

Paper niggers are just so unbelievably retarded, like what happens when you buy a "paper ounce"
It's either someone ELSE'S ounce of silver they're holding on to for you while you hold the paper, or you've just handed them your money and it's just on margin - either way it's literally the most retarded thing I could think of doing, you're paying to own it but you don't actually hold or own it, someone else does.

Like imagine buying a car but it's a paper car, that would maybe make sense if you were just trading it back and forth, and cars require storage and maintenance and stuff, but silver literally is just boughted and then can sit there for 100 years or 200 or 300 and it doesn't do anything, it's just there. Literally paying someone to take your silver and give you a piece of paper. Retard shit.

do houses emptyings once boomers croaks. You have websites to find the ones near you. Families want to get rid of all the crap asap to sell the house. You can find treasures in there. Not long ago i found a cigar box containing 3K€ in cash hidden in a drawer.
Just last week i picked up 3kg of junk for 85% below spot because the boomer didn't know shit about silver (it was his dead mom stacking).

Silent Gen/old boomies dying are at ATH, every single day you can find new homes getting emptied to be ready to be put for sale.
The big brain move is to buy a truck and actually charge the inheritors for you to empty the house (ie load up the truck with their parents' stuff). The demand is more than real, people didn't pick up on that yet.
Worst case scenario is you have to ditch it all at the nearest waste collection site.
Normal scenario is you find out items/furnitures who can be sold back as-is, sometimes with minor fixing needed.
Good scenario is you find collectible stuff and memorabilia.
Dream scenario is you find the hidden PM & cash stack or valuable sculptures/paintings.

90% of the time silent gen boomies will never tell their kids about the location of their emergency cash stach (like anyone really). Most of the time the kids will find it by randomly searching around while cataloguing items. But sometimes they don't bother looking through stuff or miss it, and that's for you.

Protip : the family almost always dump/ignore the house pharmacy, and since it was from very old people, it's chokeful of benzos, painkillers and others goodies worth a fortune on the secondary market. The cigar box time, i even found vials of injectable morphine from the 90s and fucking Laudanum bottle dating back from god only knows how long!

Yes. Gold is valuable everywhere in the world, but in smaller places, where there is only one dealer, or in the case of Argentina where the the Argentine peso had 50% inflation per month and nobody wanted to give up their very liquid US dollars in exchange for a much less liquid gold Eagle, ones options for gold tend to involve a painful haircut. Gold is best for large transactions, or in places where there are many dealers and prices are competitive..

Since you're stupid and have apparently never heard of trend creation, here:

>Something we all tend to agree on: three’s a trend. “We always say that trends emerge in threes,” explains Yumi Shin, chief merchandising officer of Bergdorf Goodman. “When we see an idea at least three times, we know it will make it into our trend forecast, whether it’s a major or micro-trend, either on or off the runway.”

So how about a mighty Hephaestus forging magic armor, sparks flying, assisted by three lovely golden maids?

>conspiracy theory scale
It's just trend forecasting/trend creation. Every fashion house and design group major and minor has contracts with market and trend research firms. These firms look at an immense array of indicators that form the zeitgeist at global and regional levels. They used to try to be predictive, examing the data and trying to guess as to what the next big trends would be. But, over the past few decades they've become more generative than predictive, creating trends in fashion and design that have the best chance at breakout. Since all the fashion houses are getting the same forecasts from the same consulting firms, there's a sort of vacuum and you see similar trends emerging across different designers at the same time.

How this relates to silver is that for months silver has been rising in price and therefore has been in the news more and more. Across the globe in regions which are also major fashion markets you see people buying up silver. Most of these people are buying to hold, silver is a pretty and tangible store of wealth which means that it can translate well to a display of wealth. Designers don't cater to the extremely wealthy - they cater to the regular wealthy and the wannabe wealthy. Silver being less expensive than gold lends itself well to this marketable niche, and as a color pairs better with women from the races which make up the majority of fashion models - whites and dark blacks. The market analyses and outlooks projected that this heightened attraction to silver isn't going away soon, and creating clothing and items in silver will amplify both the attraction and demand creating a major trend. These trends develop and then spread across other fashion and design markets, eventually all the way down to retail. Silver bullion's rise is good for a silver fashion trend, and a silver fashion trend is good for silver bullion. These color and/or material trends can last for years, and sometimes even decades.

Nothing wrong with new people. What is bad is the loss of decent effortposters. People who have been banned for nonsense to the point where they gave up in disgust. They've gone to twitter and telegram.

I've personally given up /pol/ for good. The noise to signal ratio is too high, and capricous and arbitrary non-appealable bans for nonsense reasons (off topic posting) or for images that did not violate the content rules, but retarded jannies didn't even bother to look at them before issuing a ban.

Realizing that the best way to punish an abusive website where the users themselves generate all the value, is simply to stop giving them content.

Look at /pol/ today. It has effectively been destroyed.

Skip to 9.30 for a QRD / just the numbers, even if you get 100% of your premium back or even do BETTER with sovereigns and more expensive coins you still lose in the long run.
When spot goes up it's built on a multiplier, the modest gain we've seen of 70% this year is a multiplier on the base amount of silver you have. if it goes up again another 100% and we hit 100 dollars you face that multiplier again. "getting back your premium" is not enough, you need to get back double it if the price of silver doubles, and the odds of that happening?

Lol, lmao.

>how many multiples can we expect
Well, financial multiples aren't really applicable to bullion specifically. More for things related to bullion like mining companies, etc. But if you mean like how much the price of silver itself will multiply because of a silver trend?....that's hard to say. Silver is conservatively forecasted to increase to between $55 and $65 per ounce sometime next year, and longer forecasts into 2027 and 2028 put it around the $80 range. These forecasts are done by banks with little desire to see silver rise, and of course they're not really capable of taking the effects of newly created/emerging fashion and design trends into account. Based on some purely correlative historic examples over the past 70 years, we're maybe talking an additional 0.15x to 0.35x multiplier on average on top of the normal drivers? It's kind of impossible to say. The industry isn't likely to consume a large amount of silver, but it would be reasonable to assume that its use in fashion and design would inspire more bullion accumulation. It certainly can't push bullion down. How much of a bump though? It's a really hard question to answer.

Back then it was mostly jews doing the anti-silver shilling. This was before the Iranians blew up Unit 8200 HQ and the jews outsourced their shilling to jeets.

It always seems to take forever in prospect, and seemed inevitable in retrospect.

There was a time not long ago (2023) when people were saying $3000/oz gold would only happen when society broke down and there was collapse of the dollar.

People in this thread are buying the silver version of $7000 bitcoin. Normies will later kick themselves for not picking up on the clues.

I was talking about silver to people I cared about back when silver was $25 and gold was around $2k. (2021) I would put a gold Maple in one of their hands and a 100oz silver bar in their other hand and tell them the silver was worth about 20% more than the gold, and that they were both going to go up significantly.

None of them bought any back then.

We gave a gold Maple to my better half's sister in Europe. She insisted on paying for it. It was 1100 Euros at the time. (2010) She had money but was more interested in buying condos that would sit empty.

Some of stackers here ITT will do very well in the coming years. IQJeet will get a job sweeping poop from the designated shitting street in between rainstorms. Stackers will be to busy enjoying life to even gloat.

>Just another meritless, litigeous, hyperjewish abuse of the American legal system.
Best I've ever heard was lowest "advertised" price and they would match competitor's price.

The class action lawsuit seems like overkill. They are probably seeking enormous punative damages, not just the $102 that they supposedly "lost".

Another issue is if the lower price either wasn't advertised, or if it wasn't available at the time the advert was published, but even if those two factors weren't at play, so long as SD Bullion made the claim in good faith, they can't be morally faulted for an honest error.

There is almost certainly a jew involved somewhere in this lawsuit.

The money of commandoes and spies. Unfortunately, here in Canada, there is a Value Added Tax on "impure" gold. Sovereigns (and Eagles and Krugerrands) are all 22k gold, so subject to the tax, so when people sell Sovs to the LCS, they only get less than melt and the coins to to the refiner.

I did pay tax on them in the past as a newbie, i learn to source good LCS and private sellers. I have a few shops that dont mind trades, and traded my silver for sovereigns to avoid the gayass tax on them. I do gold sovereigns, maples, and britannias, mostly at 1/4, and 1/10. They have the queen / a previous monarch for something easily recognizable for the average person for Canada. I have U.S silver, i thought about getting into american gold, but i'm kinda doubting myself on it. I'm trying to justify it since we border the U.S as a good reason, but at the same time, will a Canadian normie be comfortable with being offered it in a barter scenario?

I don't drive a Mr. Two, though I still kinda want one.

I think it's possible that America's future _could_ resemble Cuba from back in the 90's. Back then, Cuba only had old cars from the 50's or 60's or something. Any time a car broke down or a part had to be replaced, they had to either import something or individually machine the part. Many of those cars had mismatched engines from tractors or something. Since all of the new cars are unfixable shitboxes, we'll end up with no used cars other than the few Toyota 4Runners from the mid 2000's still running. The only people who will be able to afford the few new cars will be the hyper wealthy. The rest of us will be on scooters or public transportation. Hence the huge Agenda 2030 bugman apartments going up in all major cities at major intersections.

One of the reasons I stack is in the semi vain hope that by collapsing the banking system, maybe we can force a reset on our end. One that involves parasites to release their grasp on us. Without unlimited capital they can't engineer their dystopian nightmare. Maybe we can go back to having nice things again. Well, we WILL go back to having nice things again, but I'd like it to be done with minimal distress. Non-violent is preferable, though I think they're going to try and force it. In any event, I would like to think we can get better cars in the future. Hitler created an economic miracle simply by banning porn and usury. Surely we can find a way as well.

In my opinion, (speaking as an Albertan) Americans are some of the most industrious and resourceful people in the world, a trait they inherited from their European ancestors. You still see those same traits as well in Europe, both east and western Europe.

I liked a story about a local American community that needed a small bridge built and the government quoted them some ridiculous $2 million cost and a year to build it, so the local community men built and installed the bridge themselves in a week for $30,000.

We just need for the crash to happen as soon as possible, because every day, we are losing men who know how to make things, and the younger generations have never had the opportunity to run a milling machine, or to weld, or to hand craft a part that no longer could be purchased.

Let Marvin Heemeyer be our inspiration. Where there's a will, there's a way.

You're literally in a general where people use indoor flush toilets, wipe their ass with disposable paper, often washing their ass with water from a plumbing fixture, and then subsequently washing their hands afterward.

They also use utensils with which to eat their food.

I know it sounds crazy, but it's actually true.

Americans would never need to replicate old, overly complex junk. They would start from scratch and begin with rudimentary designs, just like they did in the early 20th century. Think of early "stock car" racing. Cars built by hand from scratch, including only what is needed.

Remember, if there are no other cars available, you can get away with anything, so you start simple and go for reliability and practicality.

It sounds like you want to invest in silver bullion, not collectible coins. So your friend's advice - "invest simultaneously in silver and collectible value" - doesn't make sense for you.

It's still possible that American Silver Eagles are the best product for you, but it's not because of the numismatic value per se. A better reason is that American Silver Eagles have a very liquid market in the US - maybe the most liquid of all silver bullion products. So you can sell them easily and the bid-ask spread is usually narrow.

No, ASEs are not numismatics. If you get them clean / COMEX ready then they won't be melted down. When I started stacking I mostly got generics. I have more ASEs than I had expected. I didn't plan my stack. I just bought what I felt like. If I had it all to do over, I guess I would've focused more on generics than ASEs. Bang for buck, you should go for buffalos. They're cheap and you get back slightly less than spot, but the spread is pretty narrow.
Not advice.

ASEs have a numismatic component. Technically, there are proof and special-issue versions. But even if we ignore those, bullion ASE's have low-mintage years (1996) that sell for a premium, for example. And condition matters too. The numismatic part seems minor, but it's real.

I think the term you guys are searching for is semi-numismatic. ASEs are bullion coins as are maples, but they're technically sovereign coins. They don't change designs often, but each year they have different production numbers. Some years when the mintage numbers are a little lower they gain a numismatic value in addition to their bullion value. Both of these coins are pretty weak numismaticall because they're so consistent with their designs and relative to other bullion coins are produced in large numbers, regardless of yearly oscillations.

Other semi-numismatics like kookaburras and Somali elephants that change designs every year, or coins that are part of a series like Canadian creatures of tge north or The Royal Mint's Queen's Beasts series usually acquire a greater numismatic bonus over time.

Assuming silver demand increases and/or its price continues to climb, thr gap between brand pricing and base bullion value will narrow. That said, I only buy IRA-eligible silver in the US. This basically means that the silver has to be .999 fine or higher and produced by a company with accreditation - approved by COMEX, LBMA, TOCOM, DMCC, or even just ISO 9001 certified. The prices for IRA-eligible silver range from the cheapest per ounce to high premiums. I personally like cheap bars and sovereign coins with security features.

>But if it all gets melted down anyway does it fucking matter?
No, and if spot multiplies by 2 the premium will not also multiply by 2, premiums on coins / rounds / junk are seasonal. Sometimes they're lower, sometimes they're higher.
The general advice for new stackers is to just get generic rounds for the low premium to get metal weight and decent liquidity first, and then you can diversify into both junk and sovereigns when the premiums on both of them are relatively low. There are periods in time when ASE's have like 3 dollar premiums, and ones where they have 12. There are times when junk has negative premiums, and when it goes for 10.

But your primary stack should really never be sovereigns from an investment standpoint, that's just a thing to do if you really really like a certain coin and don't care. If you're buying metal don't buy collectibles, that puts you in the collectibles market and you aren't ready to work an extra 40 or 50 hour workweek on a collectibles sidejob, so don't buy collectibles.
