I don't care if it's seen as inauthentic or cheap, I love me a california roll. They're so insanely satisfying, the perfect little hit of carb and fat, creamy but not mushy, the avocado and mayo-imitation crab play together so well.

We get clowned on by the rest of the world because we live in a place where most grocery stores only offer variations of cheddar, pepper jack, and maybe Swiss, and they have real cheeses.
