NTA. I have a really wide variety of hot sauces in our kitchen already, but my wife gets me sets like OP's for birthdays and holidays cause she knows I'll find at least one or two that I enjoy enough to add to the regular rotation. Nothing wrong with a pre-made set of sauces; quit being a dick.

Cholula is what I use when I want something sweeter and less robust than one of Tabasco's varieties. I can see why it's taken off in America, because that's generally the sort of flavor that Americans have been conditioned to like. I don't use it very often but sometimes I feel like it, idk.

The chipotle one is a little too sweet but it does work better than Tabasco's chipotle on stuff like nachos. The green one is just sort of inconsequential. Like you can put on huge amounts and it just doesn't make too much of a difference.

You're confusing 2 different things. Thick sauces are based, much better than watery shit like Tabasco, and you can achieve that with natural vegetable fiber (like I think Marie Sharps does) as opposed to xanthan gum.

Calories otoh come from added sugar, typical of sriracha as well as any "bbq" sauce.

Fuck that. I bought a bottle a couple of years ago because it had decent reviews. It tasted awful and I immediately threw it in the trash.

Meh, that stuff has a sweetness to it that I object to on pizza. Maybe others like it.

I do still have a bottle, though. I use it in soups and stews to kick them up a notch. The sweet flavor isn't noticeable and I still get the heat.
