What's your opinion on eating food using your fingers instead of cutlery? Does it really make the food taste better?

'Better' is subjective, but I do enjoy holding a joint of meat in my hands and tearing meat off the bone with my teeth.

It's called fufu, it's a very doughy bread. Tear off a small piece then squeeze it into a firm ball in your palm, then scoop / dip it into the soup. It's spongy and pretty tasty, west african food is good.

When I moved into my apartment, while boxes were yet to be unpacked, I got takeout kebab and rice. I had no cutlery, and I forgot to ask for plastic utensils. I saw no other option than to eat with my hands. It was pretty weird, and I've never done it again, but I cannot deny it's efficiency. No rice falling from my fork/chopsticks. Every couple of months I'll buy a rotisserie chicken and just tear into it with my bare hands, really get in there. Get a loaf of Italian to soak up the chicken juice.
