if someone has a toddler and pulls a happy meal out for the toddler, or some tupperware with carrots and apples, and ordered nicely off the menu for the rest of the family, I'd be unbothered. There are picky eaters and eating in peace to keep in mind.
If someone is being cheap, like putting 10 packets of sugar and 4 wedges of lemon into their free water, seems kind of tacky.
If someone wants to pay an uncorking fee, or bring a family dessert in which to split for a special occasion, it's a simple request they spoke to you about.
I suppose there could be some special dietary things out there. The restaurant just needs to think with a brain. Are they accomating most diets with their menu or is low carb too popular to ignore. Or is the patron being a cheapass because grilled chicken adds $11 to the salad.
