Post your local roadside stands, diners, carts, or eateries. Local haunts are one of the backbones of our shared community and must be preserved.

Hucks hoagies in wolfsboro NH. Best steak and cheese around.

And papa joes humble kitchen. Best burgers in the state.

Not too many more great ones around here. Super duper weenie in CT is great. Fatties in St Petersburg FL and Big Bulls Banging BBQ in SC are the best BBQ I've ever had.

Love lil roadside spots. Always try and stop at several on roadtrips.

There's a shit ton of breweries in that area. Real weird ones that are basically in the guy's backyard. Several of them you park in their driveway and walk around back. Check out the Reel Craft Passport or the revamped NH Brewers Assoc Passport. Interesting mix of the tourist spots and hyper local locations.

Just ate at Rutts Hut, serving ripper hot dogs since 1927. Place is a throwback, serving yahoo and birch beer as well as bottles of real beer at the lunch counter.

I agree strongly with the preservation of our surviving holes in the wall. I love a place that serves things the way they serve them and won't compromise. Those hot dog places with no ketchup. Those burger places that put pickle onion and mustard on EVERY fucking burger and that's how you get it or you can fuck off.
I LOVE that shit. Some old timer's grandfather opened the place in a shack and 80 years later they're still doing it his way. Real Americana. We should be so grateful we still have that connection to a simpler time.

Some fuckstick opens up some gastromolecular food truck where a smartphone is involved with designing and 3d printing my food, I hope them nothing but failure.
Fuck the future.

They were featured on the Food Network and Travel Channel a lot back in the early 2000s. I'd like to eat there but I want the least fried dog. Not that rubberized son of a bitch they do. Aw, hell. I guess I'd want to try a bite of that too. I trust that they know what they're doing after a century of doing it.

Don't mind the barking dogs. They are good boys, speaking our language and throwing their own trash garbage language away. They worship our culture. That's why they post here, to be like us. That's why their countries and homes are filled with our technology and our media. They are nothing without us.

just a few pubs around were I live. some of the old places in the town I grew up in still exists. like the golf club bistro. few pubs they still have the same things on the menu. most of the good trash take away's closed down as the owners retired. the people who took over couldn't run them the same and they went out of business. probably change the grease

The Clam Box in East Brookfield MA. One of the few inland seafood slopjoints that serves 10/10 seafood all year. THEY DON'T CLOSE FOR WINTER. They get all their seafood trucked in weekly from New Bedford, Gloucester, Newport. Their cheep takeout chowda and lobster rolls rival the nice Boston restaurants, but also their tendies are awesome too. ILU Clam Box

Small no-nonsense dock bar in Solomon's Island, Maryland
Surrounding area is constant influx of DC tourists and military types, so having a place that's out of the way enough to avoid most crowds is nice

There are dozens of little hole in the wall eateries scattered throughout NJ and eastern PA. Gronsky's milk house in high bridge NJ serves breakfast and lunch along with ice cream. Been there since the 1970s, food is alright, counter girls are cute and you can sit by a little river while eating.

I don't know if it is a chain. It doesn't seem like one. It is run like a family business in that things are done with pride. It's not in a strip mall; it is connected to a convenience store on a corner.

I like having watched this beaitiful tree grow all these years. A chain just wouldnt do that imho
