I no longer shop at Trader Joe’s due to rampant racism and cultural appropriation. When I saw foods labeled “Trader Jose” I literally started shaking and I had a panic attack. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Most of what I eat now comes from Tofu Tanisha’s, a black woman owned store that sells soy based vegan fares like tofurkey and facon. They even have Soy Nibblets for my therapy dog, Mx. Trotsky!

As I'd said last thread (and was quite surprised my post didn't go ignored), the frozen peas. They are, by far, the very best frozen peas in existence. Other companies harvesting, washing, steaming and freezing peas really ought to pack it up. No better pea is possible. Trader Joe's have won.

about a decade ago i really needed ketchup and i had never been in a trader joes so i decided to check it out. long story short they didn't have any ketchup and i've never been in one since. like how the fuck does a grocery store not have a staple like that?

They go into a million different things at my house but when I suggested them last thread, a guy actually went out, bought them and had them with a little fat of some kind. Looked like a spoonful of ghee but I can't be sure, he didn't say what it was and I didn't ask. What he did say was that he agreed that those peas are the best peas. And I just remembered, he asked which peas I was talking about: specifically, the petit peas. They are the best peas I've ever had.
