I use it for pain relief, it brute forces my body to send me into euphoria and it feels so fycking good fucknmmgmf and my back pain goes away for about 40 min. ive only tried the pink "carbonara" version and it's basically just flavorless spice. its ridiculous. burning my mouth for absolutely no reason. i tried it next time with just the "cheese" powder and it was still practically tasteless just without the spice. had to add like a tsp of chicken bullion to make it taste like anything. thoroughly disappointed, i had gone to 2 stores to find it too because the first one had ran out and i just had to try the famous social media ramen. i felt betrayed.

The bowls suck but the packets are good. I never got to try the 3x since it was a limited run but the 2x is good. I don't think I'm good with spicy food though because at some point you just saturate your receptors, there's not a whole lot of difference between the regular and 2x spicy. And it doesn't taste like chicken either. A little savory, a little sweet, mostly tingly from the chili. But it doesn't have a strong chilly flavor. You can't really add anything to it either or it's not enjoyably spicy anymore. Egg is the worst offender. But Koreans are retarded and like to do dishes constantly so every meal each diner has 10 different plates and bowls. So just put the blanched spinach on a seperate plate and then chicken thigh next to it.
Somehow the burn of buldak is very short lived, but intense. Some stuff is too long lived. I suspect it is sugar or oil that diminishes the lingering effect.

The Mesoamericans (Aztecs and Mayans) selectively bred most modern types of chili peppers for generations dumbshit. Whites had nothing to do with that.
Mexican cuisine is basically still Aztec-Mayan cuisine + rice, chicken, beef, pork, onions and a few other euro ingredients incorporated after.
But many dishes are literally Mesoamerican. Like pozole was literally a Human sacrifice ritual stew, they replaced the Human flesh with pork and still eat it today.
The pinto beans are the same beans the Aztecs grew. Turkeys were bred by the Aztecs for meat.
The corn flour tortillas are also native. (The ones made with regular wheat are from Spain).

You will also find that below the Panama canal the level of spice dimishes as well, as below Panama you cross into the Inca area of influence. The Incas weren't so fond of chili peppers. There the cuisine is more about potatoes, corn stews, cassava, etc. Just as the Mesoamericans were autistic about chili varieties, the Incas were autistic about potatoes, and they selectively bred and categorized like hundreds of different varieties to be grown at different altitudes.

I like it. Gives a nice rush of endorphines, when you dring a big glass of milk after finishing it. Hadn't had the chance to try the 3x one, yet. Though I absolutely understand people finding it too spicy. You need to have a pretty good tolerance to taste anything. I tend to eat spicy in 'phases' so after a non-spicy phase I'm overwhelmed too, even from my Scorpion Tabasco. I think spicy food is more like a game or a dare, than actually about tasty dishes. First time was spiciest, drained the noodles pretty well, I got the teary eyes and nose running. next I left a few tablespoons of water, hoping it would coat my mouth more but i just inhaled it not having to stop between forkfuls. then tried it just as ramen keeping all the broth. ended up adding some blairs mega death when all the noodles were finished

I just get the pan fairly hot (not super hot, but medium-to-medium-high) with oil, and then place the dumplings in to begin searing. Once they've had a couple minutes to get started I put some water in, usually just so the dumplings are knee-deep. Then I cover and let them boil/steam. Once the water is evaporated I uncover them and wala, the dumplings come out all steamed and chewie but also pan-seared brown on the bottom side. The whole thing takes like 6-7 minutes with frozen dumplings, much faster (use less water I guess) with fresh thawed dumplings.

This also works really well with pierogi although it's not traditional. Usually those are boiled and then browned in butter, but if you want to do it in one pan you can do it this way.

I'm chasing the dragon when it comes to spicy food and the 2x buldak used to be my limit. I used to think it tasted great and it would leave me a sniffling mess but I've gotten used to the heat and now it just has a kind of sickly sweet tomato flavour to it. Finishing a pack is really hard now because it has this artificial flavour to it and I find that most EXTREME HEAT food is similar. Sacrifices flavour for extreme heat.

Thai food is the exception I think because a lot of it is fresh chillis and shit rather than some mystery sauce cooked up with the intention of blowing your asshole out.
