when making cooking related internet searches there should be a way to exclude any American based results

for example i was trying to find why my burgers keep falling apart and all the results mentioned stupid bullshit about lean meat and mixing the meat a lot and messing with the protein structure or some stupid scientistic shit like that, turns out when americans say burger they only mean ground beef balls without any condiments or anything else in the mix and unfortunately those are the only results you can find on the internet

I agree. Not so much with burger recipes, but I tend to avoid American recipes for most things because they cannot cook.

a little bit of salt and water helps keeping the meat together

There's an easy way, it's called not searching in english
This way you avoid both US and UK "food"

im an ausfag and chef for 10 years and for years I agreed with you, used to put everything under the sun in the patty mix, sauces, mustard, onions etc essentially like an old style chippy burger

I only recently tried just pure meat and s+p on the outside and gotta say, I've been wrong for years... seriously just make the meat as good as possible and let condiments speak for themselves on the bun. It might be tradition to make your patty a rissole but the yankies got this one right....
