Junketsu uses Satsuki's dreaming state to hijack her mind and trap her in a delusionary world based around her hopes and dreams for the future.
As a result of the Life Fibers embedded in the environment around Satsuki, Junketsu's dream trap also captures Ryuko, Mako, Ragyo, Nui, Rei, Senketsu, and the Elite Four's dreamselves.
As a result of it being Satsuki's dream, she unconsciously makes herself much stronger than she is in canon (as a reflection of her pride and tendency to try and shoulder everything).
The more she tries to realize her dream of being the savior of the world, the stronger the dream world becomes as a trap.
Unlike the others, the Life Fiber based characters realize the situation and have a lot more 'consciousness' of things that are occurring. This means that Ryuko, Senketsu, Ragyo, and Nui are more themselves in goals and autonomy.

Unarguably, there is a degree of time travel and time shenanigans that takes place, but it is really odd. Normally I wouldn't really take it into account and a lot of this could be argued as just dream world stuff, but somehow Satsuki (after getting hit by some Life Fibers) was able to see events that would occur in the future.
This gives more credence to the ideas pushed in the scenario where both the Primordial Life Fiber (in its humanoid form) and Ryuko + Senketsu manage to draw Life Fibers from other dimensions (read universes) and timelines to empower themselves.
There is some ominous threat of the Primordial Life Fiber eventually reaching critical mass, but the nature of such a result eludes me.
Ultimately it requires the Rending Scissors/Snippety-Snips to free Satsuki from the dream by literally cutting her dream.
So what does this mean? Well not really much of anything. At most you can argue that Life Fiber characters have a limited resistance to time-space shenanigans and that the Rending Scissors are capable of cutting through something doing time-space shenanigans. Not really anything in terms of stat boosts.
