Because the flame princes break up arc came at the worst possible period in my life at the time and they fact that they didnt undo it but only doubled down on it made me irrationally angry. I was feeling especially depressed when they turned what was a fun escapism show into a depressing humiliation ritual for the protag. I even told myself at the time that when finn gets a GF again i probably will too and ill be happy. I slowly came to see women as vindictive and evil over time and the way the finn abuse continued hardened that feeling for me back then especially. Flame princess being a cunt started my road to distrusting women but the continued finn abuse up to bubbiline becoming the core focus of adventure tike solidified me into being a full on misogynist.
