I really hate to invite the comparison, but if you want to like do some raunchy sex comedy stuff, the new season of Panty and Stocking is how you would go about it. I understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea, but doing silly animation, quickly flipping through different little stories, doing constant homages and bringing in different animators and stuff, basically never settling on one joke for too long. The guys are watching through a hole in a fence as the chad character is about to fuck Bull's gf in his neighbor's yard (they're both winners of a breed competition and highly desired). It's kind of an impossible movie to rate, arguably more entertaining as an exploration of Genndy's psyche and being able to draw connections to some of his more obviously safe for work projects. But it has an odd charm both for its visual appeal and emotional pulls, that shockingly works better than the romance attempts in his more acclaimed stories. And there's a sincerity/love for the characters that puts it above Sausage Party imo, where the cynicism is so apparent you believe the creators don't care about the story being told.

I have more thoughts on what I think Genndy's intentions are for the way sex is handled, its sense of style, and the final message of the movie, and how it reveals the filmmaker's core beliefs. But I also don't think the internet is that interested in talking about the movie like this, so I'm content to just take a backseat. There's a lot of really bad stuff in it, but also some really surprising stuff, and I can't say it wasn't entertaining. Feels like a movie that's braver than anything I would hypothetically make.

I think it is Bocelli. I don't know why, even if his voice is great, it sounds somewhat strained.
