The Complete Carl Barks Disney Library
I've been looking for all the released volumes in this collection, some of them were harder to find, so thought of sharing a folder with all the available volumes in case someone else was interested too.

Vol. 1 isn't missing, it hasn't been published yet.

Nice, thank you. Shame that Disney censored a few stories in some volumes.

I'm here, and I think I've collected the whole set.

Last few stories have worse scans sadly but I'll manage.

You're the man, ty, but out of curiosity what's the deal w/ the first not being published yet? As in, forgive my ignorance here, but aren't first volumes usually published first? I'll take my answer off the air.

They wanted to get the best/most important stuff out there first

The first few volumes aren't really that great, it's only from volume 5, Lost in the Andes, that we get the classic, amazing Barks comics. From then on it's consistently good until about volume 15. From around 20-something on it gets lesser in quality, and many stories are retreads of older ones.
I guess Fantagraphics wanted to start with the greats, then just went in order, and now filled in the gaps.

>uuuuh
Shouldn't it be ööööh?
Anonymous No.149883364 >>149884724

Both are used in swedish.
Ööh... is more like a goofy guy thinking noise in comics, as far as I've seen. Could still have worked here.
Uuh is similar to Ooh in terms of sound, but signals unawareness or uncertainty rather than surprise.

Well I gotta say but thanks OP. I've been interested in Duck comics, and while I'll check them out I do wanna ask any veteran duck comic readers why they're so beloved (apprently by most of the other world) and such, any other reading guides, etc. Like what about other characters like Mickey and such, they got anything good?

Granted, It's been a long while since I moved out of Sweden but I can't recall any translated duck comics or literature I've read ever making use of Uuh.
>Uuh is similar to Ooh in terms of sound
The use of Uuh is more similar to Ööh and Ooh is more similar to Ååh, based on how I remember it.
But It's been ages since I've been to school so feel free to call me retarded. I could be wrong, in which case, I've learned something. Or I could be right, in which case, I've spread knowledge. Either way it's a win.

You aren't necessarily wrong.
English Ooh sounds fairly similar to swedish Ååh and they are used in similar way, men Ååh is often used in a more negative sense, like english "Ugh".
Swedish Uuh sounds fairly similar to swedish Ooh, but is a lot more similar to Ööh in function(Ööh sounds a lot more like english Uuh than swedish Uuh does).
Ööh is a lot more standard(especially on stupid characters to emphasize stupidity), but Uuh sees a good amount of use.
While Ööh can be used for uncertainty, it is just as often used to convey a person being slow of mind. Uuh doesn't usually do that.
I might also be wrong.
Ööh, riktigt intressant ämne vi började diskutera.

I've been out of the loop for a while, so I honestly(without irony because this is 4chan) can't remember seeing any instance of uuh being used, it's why I was taken aback by it.
You're right that Ååh would be more like a groan (Ååååhhh morsan, för helvete!) but at the same time Åh could carry a sense of discovery (Åhhh, se där!). Languages are funny that way.

Based on the image of the post I replied to, it seemed like her mental faculties were degrading hence why I felt ööööh was more fitting.
That was just my take on it.
