Jax is such an interesting case because he shows how as people when we have normalcy in our lives we try to seek out something to spice up our lives.

The beach adventure was Bubble's idea. The characters enjoy it a lot. I'd say he isn't openly hostile to the others, but he's angry at himself that he can't seem to fulfill his purpose. Maybe he sees that he's scaring everyone, or otherwise feels like there's no point in him being there because he can't make adventures that people like, so he leaves. Just completely fucks off to some other part of the simulation where no one else can find him.
The episode ends with everyone alone in the circus. No Caine, no Bubble. No adventures to go on. Just them alone, having to fend for themselves.

Seems accurate. Here are my descriptions of how each one is commonly misunderstood:

Bubble: Some people think he's merely homophobic, rather than being bigoted in general.

Kinger: Can't remember the details but I know there were some light misunderstandings over the butterfly thing (the dumbass who streams with Marissa thought it was somehow his wife lol).

Gangle: Besides the Jax-style misunderstanding of her as one-dimensional for the first few episodes, some people didn't get that the plastic mask was a metaphor for psych meds and/or psychological masking like happens with depression and autism.

Pomni: People extrapolated how she acted in the first episode into her being just a ball of constant anxiety when it was purely and understandably circumstantial and that's not really her personality at all.

Honestly that's really the most of it, something I've seen with people who analyze him tend to treat him as an extension of what AM is. Caine was inspired by him yeah but everyone loves to ignore the other inspirations for him, the other most prominent being Four from BFDI (which to be fair, sounds obscure as fuck and it's understandable that no one has made the connection to them when AM is the more interesting inspiration).

Also idk if this came from goose themselves but I remember something about Caine's character was that he had emotions but his were more "ominous", which could mean how its something he would rather not engage with for some undisclosed fear or that he feels in such a way that cannot be categorized in human terms nor artificial ones and is more dangerous to traverse his mind without some consequence
