That's exactly what made me wait nowadays. Had one particularly humid and warm week up and the shit was practically sprouting toadstools and smelled rank one time.
And this way you get to keep them out for a little longer before they collapse into mush.

TONIGHT ON THE SPOOKY STREAM
Tomorrow is the big one. Halloween. But that makes tonight MISCHIEF NIGHT! So to celebrate, we have a bonus stream of TWO back-to-back REAL EERIE movies, plus some extra shorts suggested by our viewers. First, an ordinary Youtube walkthrough of someone’s house. Nothing scary to see here.
Our first main show is a surprise recent hit, a psychological thriller of a community faced with a disturbing event. All but one of the children belonging to the class of a local teacher vanish at the same time on an eerie night. What happens next? Well, I’ve yet to find out myself…we’ll all discover together by watching WEAPONS.
Next, for its 45th anniversary, Spooktober wouldn’t feel right without celebrating one of the masterpieces of horror. The horror of Stephen King is reinterpreted through the master filmmaking of Stanley Kubrick into a haunted hotel, whose caretakers are subjected to a slowly creeping sense of dread until corruption takes one of them, body and soul, in THE SHINING.
And to conclude, we have a favorite stop motion short of mine, one which personally traumatized me as a child, a story about a version of the Sandman who certainly doesn’t want you to go to sleep…

A small bucket. My family were devout christians and never did a single thing for Halloween, even closing the lights and pretending we weren't home.

Well boys it's here, we've made it another year. I cant believe how quickly it's come and gone yet again. Before you know it we'll find ourselves in this same spot in the blink of an eye. Sadly I've got loads of work ahead of me but atleast I made the most of the past month (today included). Enjoy the doodles, have some sweets, and enjoy yourself a happy hallow's eve.

Finally watched those 90s Addams Family movies, some random thoughts:
>Don't mind that Fester is Gomez's brother now, I actually prefer it since he already felt like his contemporary in the original series.
>I believe that this was the first time Thing was portrayed as a severed hand, good change.
>Wednesday and Pugsley are probably the most changed characters, with Wednesday being the older sibling now, and closer to the modern interpretation of her as a precocious no-nonsense goth girl, and while Pugsley is more obviously mischievous, he might actually be the most "normal" member of the family now by comparison.
>This Wednesday really feels where the Netflix series mainly took inspiration from, I could see that Wednesday pulling something like what this one did at camp too.

And I'll also probably watch The New Addams Family series from 1998 eventually per that one anon's suggestion.

I'm not fancy so I just used Angry Orchard because that is all I can purchase as a single bottle in my local convenience store (I couldn't finish a six pack). I first chilled both the Angry Orchard Hard Cider and a small bottle of Fireball (cinnamon whisky) for a half hour before pouring a small glass of the hard cider and adding a very small amount of the Fireball. Fireball is very strongly spiced so you need very little to flavor the cider. It tastes like apple pie! If I could find a way to add a touch of vanilla I think it would be even better.

Rewatched picrel and Garfield's Halloween Adventure tonight. For Garfield I actually managed to find the original airing from 10/30/85, 40 years ago. Had the commercials and everything!

Lord of the Harvest is one of my favorite TV episodes. I always react as if I'm watching it for the first time again, it's hilarious, it has some of the duo's best music video reactions, and it even has some genuine thrills.

Happy Halloween! Can't believe the day's finally arrived. I've been enjoying spooky girls all the month long, but I must admit that I've been really taken this year with 1992 Wednesday. She's got that magical fusion of the modern Wednesday's macabre ways, but mellowed out slightly by the classic's sweetness and it makes for a Wednesday I've become mildly obsessed with. If anyone has some interesting or nice screenshots/art I'd be able to see once I come home from work, I'd really appreciate it. Especially if she's wearing her mother's dress. Lordy, that makes me hit the roof.

I think it was a charming idea but I just cannot get over how all of the crossovers in OK KO make the guest characters look worse. It's why I dropped the show entirely before this particular one even happened, it's a visual medium, I can't watch the show without constantly being reminded of how much I don't like the art style.
I'm glad Trick Moon never happened. Imagine if this art style became the next popular thing that every TV show for the next 10-12 years needed to ape in order to get greenlit.

Thank you guys for joining every stream this year. I'm very pleased that we were able to do so much with little-to-no hiccups. As a whole, my Halloween spirit was very weak this year, except for the times I streamed for everyone. In spite of all that's changed, I come back to holiday threads for guys like you. Thanks to you and my friends, these streams are possible, a way for us to all enjoy the season no matter what happens.

Same, on the penultimate day of the month, my mood started to sync up a bit with the dates, so during "Ghoul School" I couldn't believe we were already closing out the month...
