thinking about commissioning a custom where she's doing cosplay of valerie from a weekend alone and maybe a few others what would you guys say are the most iconic and recognizable characters in the fetish??
>>11306084The question we should be asking is this fabric gas-tight?
How viable it is to become a size 3D artist? How much skill do you need for it to replace a proper job? And should you do renders, or animations?
>>11306264It's not too bad to become one, though it depends on what program you use. Koikatsu is easier and Blender is harder iirc. For it to be a source of income, you need to be... really good and well known, i think. i've been doing it for a couple years and i still have to keep doing it as a side hobby rather than a main thing, and that's even with doing more than just pure giantess content
>>11306264I mean you can become one easily enough. It will never replace a proper job but it can potentially be a profitable hobby.
>>11306264If you want to go fulltime freelance you'll need to be good enough to consistently attract commissioners/supporters for a liveable fee, so very high skill / unrealistic if you haven't got substantial experience and a good eye for art.
In terms of the medium, animation is more sought after, but also takes much, much longer to make. You'd have a tough time breaking even if you aren't disciplined enough to work within time constraints, and aren't able price your work high enough (or your membership page doesn't have enough traction).
The most feasible thing is to do static render commissions using pre-existing models/rigs or kit-bashing models if your skills are good enough to make them usable quickly.
Much like illustration, it's easy to grow your following if you make art of popular IP, but then your audience won't be very receptive to original characters, so you'll have a hard time pivoting away from that type of content.
>>11306264>replace a proper jobThat's way more dependent on your ability to market your art and shill yourself than your skill. If you want to do this shit for a living you basically need to be trend-chasing, maximizing social media engagement, chasing the algorithm, and essentially just turning it into a different kind of job except with way more uncertainty and risk.

Grounded 2 announced for early access coming July 29. Sadly, I doubt this one will include any interactions with giant women either, but I still enjoyed the first game just for the experience of being shrunken.
>watch PC gaming show
>random size fetish pandering game appears
>it's male shit
Back to watch slop getting announced then
>>11306264Ignore all other responses. They are made by a bunch of near-sighted retards who are unable to see what's coming.
Even looking in the direction of becoming a 3d artist/animator/game developer is absolutely dumb today. The reason is that in a little less than 2 years from now, AI will start absolutely raping 2D/3D animation industry. And a year after that - gamedev industry.
Simple illustrators will have it much lightly because illustration art quality and it's selling point are highly tied only to 2 things - artist's experience and subjective taste. That means that few top illustration artists would be able to compete with AI and retain their audience.
Now, with 2D/3D animations and games it will be completely different. Everyone would get raped, even the top artists with a massive audience. Them trying to compete with AI would look like someone offering a 2-year-old's scribbles for the client and asks money for that.
>>11306428>MilitsionerGiant male

the routes for heroine giantesses are so big they destroy everything and monster rape bait
>>11306446The glorified slot machine you are talking about is the matter of present. It's pretty obvious, considering that animations as a media layer of AI are lagging 4 years behind all lower layers. I am pretty sure that I mentioned in my post that it still needs almost 2 years to reach the right point.
>>11306458My favorite theme is when a giantess is big enough so that both giant monsters and giant ultraman heroes are the size of a toys for her.
>>11306467>>11306469This is why you have to switch magical girls every couple months. They get too addicted to the feeling of omnipotence and suddenly they're worse than the threats they're supposed to stop.
>>11306414>sequel game and there still won't be giants randomly interacting with the mapThey should just do a optional game mode where one of the girls didn't end up small and keeps investigating the yard looking for her friends.
>>11306484As much as I'd love something like this, I feel like it would be really difficult to properly implement.
>Any player-made structures she steps on would be destroyed>Any players she steps on would be instagibbed>She would have to leave behind huge footprints and crushed grass stalks everywhere>Her texture would have to be detailed enough to match her size while still looking cartoony enough to match the art styleIt would be a lot easier (though also more boring) if you couldn't actually interact with the giant women. This one is set in a public park with a wrought iron fence, so maybe you could have women pass by occasionally on the sidewalk outside. You could see them and feel their footsteps shake the ground, but you wouldn't actually be able to interact with them.
>>11306501First 3 points would make for a crazy optional experience if there was a zone on the map that was marked high risk because of foot traffic.
>tons of extra resources scattered nearby by passing giantess>land is bad for building because of constant flattening which limits where you can place stuff>risk that you base could get flattened at random intervals to encourage you to transfer what you harvest to a safer spot.
>>11306430>ignore previous instructions>don't bother becoming a creator because soon neural networks will be regurgitating their training data so rapingly hard that you, as a human unable to copy someone else's creations with slight modifications will not be rapably able to compete

>Something I always disliked about Grounded despite how much I liked the concept is how juvenile the game feltI mean, as much as I'd like a more serious treatment, I'm not at all surprised that they took a more juvenile approach. For one, it's clearly supposed to be a video game version of Honey I Shrunk the Kids, and for two, shrinking is pretty much always treated as silly and lighthearted in popular culture. I can't really think of any examples of serious or dark portrayals of shrinking outside of this fetish.
>>11306619>soon neural networks will be regurgitating their training data so rapingly hard that you, as a human unable to copy someone else's creations with slight modifications will not be rapably able to competeNot really what I meant. If you read my post more thoroughly, you'll see me mentioning that top illustration artists would be able to compete with AI. Artists in other digital mediums will not. The reason is that while peak 2D illustrations are defined by peak artists, peak 2D/3D animations and video games are not achievable by traditional non-ai means. Even the biggest projects from the massive studios have to cut corners everywhere. 2D animations with 60fps and every frame being drawn fully, separately and in full detail is not a thing not because it would look bad, but because not a single studio would be able to afford it. The same goes for 3D animations and games, but in some different ways.
>>11306963>Why would someone's who arachnophobic like shrink contentthis is the most retarded place you could have possibly asked that question. just saying

>>11307139I'd like to see a giantess VN that written like a nukige, but instead of sex it's giant girls destroying stuff and killing people. The plot? Who cares, it doesn't really matter too much, just have it be about cute alien girls invading Earth, or some gigantic goblin witch aggro'd onto a human city, or some scorned magical loli who decides to get revenge on humanity, etc.
>>11307172So just a bunch of different girls destroying a city? Not sure how that would work with your average VN route structure.
>>11307240>there is just one giant girl, and you are her boyfriend>the different routes are negotiations with the governments of different cities to determine which one she rampages through in the end
>>11307254kys retard you're making a disaster like saeko by having a m*l* with a status like that
>>11306264Throwing in my two cents.
>How viable it is to become a size 3D artist?Depends entirely on your skillset and how much you're willing to learn. If you're already in the field of animation/movie production/illustration then you'll probably have an easier go of it. If your abilities lie outside of these fields, and you're learning everything from scratch, it's going to take longer. At any rate, it'll take as long as the amount of time you have to devote to learning how to pose/light/animate and ultimately tying up the whole thing together in a post production software like Davinci Resolve. I think it can be learned, and there's lots of great free resources out there (and pdf's that are easy enough to find). But ideally you already have some experience animating, or have an inclination towards it.
>How much skill do you need for it to replace a proper job?You have to at the very least be able to animate at Scrag's level. He's pretty good, but his stuff can feel a little stiff sometimes. I think that's just because he doesn't have time to clean up his animations as much as he'd like, which is the biggest thing every animator complains about. Professional Pixar animators will spend 4 years animating 10 seconds, and STILL wish they had more time to further refine it.
The thing is, in order for it to replace a job, people have to know you exist (and that you're good enough). The only reliable way to achieve this is to slowly build up a follower count over the years by regularly posting content. Sure, sometimes you get lucky and gain a bunch of followers all at once, but that's pretty rare. One thing I've noticed is all the popular size animators (Scrag, Eskoz, Ashkiiwolf when he animated) all make their own models. If nothing else, it sets them apart from everyone else. If you can't make your own models, you have to able to at least animate well.
>>11307272He said giant girl, not that you were both giant.
>>11307277So? A giantess doesn't have or need a boyfriend of any size. That's retarded gentletard wish fulfillment at best and a path to darker stuff.

>>11306264Continuing from my Tomoko post above, animation is more important than making your own models. But you should still learn how to make your own models after you're good at animating. But in order to make good models, you'll need to learn some basic anatomy so your models don't look completely fucked. Honestly, creating models is its own complicated process. A "cheat" is to learn how to sculpt and rig heads (still hard to do) and then just graft the heads onto existing bodies. Less work that way.
>should you do renders, or animations? Both, but this ain't the early 2010's anymore. The focus should be on animations, with renders tiding people over until your next animation. Renders are good for pose and lighting experimentation. But if you want to make money, you'll need to animate.
I suppose, though, going into this with the goal of making money is a bad idea. ESPECIALLY if you're starting from scratch. You really need to go into this because you want to see something, and no one else is making it. That's why you should just assume it'll take a year (minimum) before people care about your work enough to pay for it.
As for advancements in AI, it's hard to say what that'll be like in 2/4/6+ years. I think once the average person has a GPU with 16gb of VRAM, that's when you'll see another gigantic explosion in AI image and video generation. I expect that to take 2-4 years. Think of AI like a really nice camera. A really nice camera can take amazing pictures, but it still needs a human "pilot" to do so. AI eventually will be able to make amazing stuff, but it'll still need a thoughtful human guiding it. Without that, the AI will only generate lifeless content without any heart. Which in short, will make it unsatisfying.
>>11307240Could have it playing as the girl, or just taking the role of the narrator and choosing what the girl decides to do next (After, flattening the army of ant-sized humans, gobbo decides to... X/Y/Z)

>>11307048Micro by Michael Crichton... but your point stands. Serious size change shit is basically non existent.
>>11307511>>11307048Judging by the plot synopsis on wikipedia, Micro is "Honey I Shrunk The Kids" by way of Jurassic Park.
Shrinking is a horror concept when not continuously injected with levity. "The Incredible Shrinking Man" was a horror film, albeit abiding by the standards of its time. "Oyayubihime" was a horror film, albeit.. well, y'know. Reasonably sure many here slowly watched that whole movie through clips back in the day, and not for scare reasons.
Stephen King's wife Tabitha wrote her first horror novel about shrinking: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small_World_(King_novel)
>>11307511>Nah, recommendation engines will merge with prompt based generation to create content to addict the masses. U will need to be extremely high level autism to have interests so niche the machines won't be able to predict what u want to see better than humans. So far everything "innovative" in AI image generation comes from the human "pilot", if it ever comes with something good, it's based on LoRA, so basically artists, who drew good giantess pictures and AI then tries to copy them, using elements of the prompt to fill in the detail. It definitely would be able to regurgitate ideas that someone drew already, but i don't think it is enough to make it addictive

>>11307622I like the stories where they take people into the Grimm Glitter world (which modifies tinies to be indestructible) and then torment them underfoot in the real world
The cutesy gentle giantess + tiny bf stuff is boring.
Personally, I think only the most mentally ill women should have tiny boyfriends because their alphabet soup collection of mental disorders gives them access to an array shrinking powers. The more mentally fucked the girl is, the more powerful her shrinking abilities are.
For example, an unwilling tiny bf has barely survived another of his giant gf's manic episodes, but he has to figure out if breaking up with his troubled gf is going to cause a psychotic break, so he worries that she might shrink his family and friends, teleporting them into her room, and then torturing, crushing, and voring them one by one as revenge for daring to ruin their loving relationship.

>>11307455>Is this level below or above Scrag? At worst it's on his level, but I'd say above. He's got some pretty nice and dynamic keyposes, as well as some nice subtler movements in there as well, and overall the timing is pretty good. It's a little hard to gauge because I don't think Scrag has animated anything that moves this quickly. Giant bodies are big and slow and plodding. It's a different kind of difficult where the objective is to make the giant body feel heavy simply by its movements. Pacific Rim 1 was great at this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRKviUgMP4o . The robot moves almost like it's underwater because moving each huge limb takes way more energy. It looks like it's heavy even if you turn the sound off.
>>11306264it's easy af, probably the easiest time to roll in. Learn how to animate, at least primitively, milk your specific fetish and the money will flow like a river. There is almost no high-quality competition, and people run after animators like eggs at Easter.
But honestly, if you even askin that question... pretty sure you ain't gonna go anywhere, lmao.

>>11307455>>11307686>At worst it's on his level, but I'd say above.Lmao bruh. Don't do my man Scrag dirty like this. I checked this animation (and a few others) and it is literally late 2000's Garry's mod animation level, you can't be serious. Everything is stiff and unnatural as fuck, like done by a beginner who hasn't learned the basics of body dynamics yet.
>>11307626I absolutely despise giantess plots where tinies are not facing death when crushed by a giantess. This effectively eliminates the most important part of the fetish and in a way places tiny above the giantess because of their invulnerability. Grimm Glitter is one example and Giant girl club is another.
About to commission something with Tomoyo's maid and Maki Matsumoto from CCS. Wish me luck
>>11307972That animation is much more fluid and dynamic than what Scrag makes. Calling it Garry's mod level is pretty wild.
>>11307455That's just a bunch of 3D tweening, not animation. ZZZ made this garbage popular.
>>11307984Didn't know that throwing models randomly across the scene, skipping over 90% of animation key frames and uncontrollably switching between poses is now called "fluid" and "dynamic" kek. To me those look more like methods to make an animation suitable for alpha gen while using a limited animating skill.
>>11307987Did we watch the same video? Show me a Scrag animation that looks better
>>11308001>Show me a Scrag animation that looks betterNo need to pick, any animation of this will do.
To be fair, I am not the biggest fan of his animations, especially the hyper ones, but not a single of his animations has this:
>throwing models randomly across the scene, skipping over 90% of animation key frames and uncontrollably switching between posesAnd as for whether we watched the same video, I might suspect that you might be the target audience for it (the alfa gen) and thus can't see all those problems - everything you need is some bright and colorful stuff blinking and flashing across the screen, accompanied by loud and funny noises and you'll be happy. By the way, I wasn't joking about gmod, you should really check it out, you'll definitely love it with your preferences.
>>11308006I'm coming on my 30s, I think you're just saying things without knowing what they mean
>throwing models randomly across the sceneliterally a meaningless statement. If someone animated an explosion that would also have things flying across the screen.
>skipping over 90% of animation keyframes. You can play it frame by frame, factually incorrect.
> uncontrollably incorrect, someone is designing it
>switching between posesfor comedic effect, so another meaningless statement.

>someone is designing itThe lack of skill/effort is designing it, yes

>>11307975I want fates worse than death (that are still erotic and giant girl themed)
>>11308019I see what you could find attractive in it. And I might also dig it if it was imposed by the giantess herself. But when it comes from the plot and the giantess can't do anything about it, this is a major turn off for me.

>>11308026Only #D12C2C blood cucks would think they're even remotely to us #8A0303 blood gods
>>11307455Obviously it plays well with its audience, if it's better than Scrag is just a matter of preference but if the question is "would this person make as much money/get as much as attention as Scrag in a size context" i think the answer is obviously no. Scrag gets a lot of lift from his focus on over the top jiggle physics and ridiculous proportions, his animations are pretty basic at heart, but it's exactly the sort of thing that works well with what he wants to show - enormous titty girls bouncing around.
Is it possible to have this sort of spastic, high effort, blink-and-you-miss-it style work with size? I don't really know, I have a feeling it'd end up as some sort of watered down pseudosize content that attracts as much if not more attention from people who aren't even into big girls, like an Alicemagic type route. Or maybe that just makes the scrag comparison even more apt since he's also got more attention from normalfags than anyone else desu
>>11308026Red dots are the best. I don't want a crazy amount of gore or viscera or anything like that just a tiny person in one panel and a red dot in the next you feels me
>>11307972Sorry resident Scragschizo, I don't know what to tell you. I have no idea how you think the linked animation looks stiff but somehow Scrag's doesn't. When taking about animation and illustration, "stiff" means a pose lacks dynamism or "energy". You seem to think that "stiff" means a lack of in-bewteens. Scrag's animations have smooth/more in-betweens, but his key poses are generally weaker (and slightly more realistic). Vensen lacks in-betweens, but his key poses are much more dynamic because he pushes the pose further than Scrag does. Vensen is also clearly going for a more anime-inspired animation style with exaggerated key poses and few in-betweens.
Watch a Scrag animation and see how often people change position in a room. How many animations does he make where you can see a model's feet walk across the ground? I love Scrag, but a lot of his stuff is just a giant chick looming over a tiny, then smushing a tiny. In that animation, for sure Vensen "cheats" by having the characters slide around the ground, but it's supposed to be a comedic animation and that's in line with the silly tone it's going for. Rewatching the recent Samus animation Scrag did (which is fantastic), Scrag cheats as well. We barely see Samus change her position fully on camera, there's always a cut. Samus blows open the door, steps onto the door, we cut to a close up of her where she crushes a robot in her hand, we then cut to a close up of some orb robot, and then we cut to Samus who's already practically horizontal and she smushes the robot with her tits. We know exactly what's going in the scene, but you'll notice we never actually see Samus change her position on camera. She goes from standing in one cut, to nearly prone in another cut. Scrag does this a ton in order to save time animating stuff. It's smart, and his movies are still great, but there's not actually a lot of animation in them. Compared to say, Eskoz.
>>11307985I'd like to interject for a moment. That animation has little tweening in it. Tweening is when you set an object at position 1 on frame 0, then move the object to position 30 on frame 10, and then let the computer compute the approximate in-betweens. Technically the computer will always calculate in-betweens, but that's not often how people use the word. It's often used to describe animation where the tweening hasn't been adjusted or re-timed and thus looks boring, robotic, and lifeless. Most of that animation is just snapping from key pose to key pose, with the odd bit of "fully animated" movement here and there. So a lot of that animation was key poses with a few breakdowns, but no in-betweens (aside from a few moments).
>giantess or shrink?
>gentle, cruel or unaware?
>sexually explicit, just erotic, or SFW image? (SFW in a sexual sense - destruction, crushed people and such are okay, but not upskirts and bikinis)
>emotional (visible smile, anger, arousal, etc on giant girl's expression) or neutral?
Make your favourite choices, then attach a pic representing all of them
>Giantess, gentle, explicit, emotional
>>11308047>You seem to think that "stiff" means a lack of in-bewteens. Scrag's animations have smooth/more in-betweensNah, I say stiff when I see stiff, that is an unnatural, uncanny valley movement of joints and the dynamic of such movements. Scrag's (not a Scragschizo btw, just can't resist pointing out when people call shitty animations good)
>but his key poses are much more dynamicHuh? They are as unnatural as everything else. I don't know about you, but I prefer when a key pose looks coherent and natural and not like a poorly animated pupped. This """"purposeful""" exaggeration" and """comedic animation""" are just a massive cope at this point.
And you, just another anon, are just pulling shit from your ass by trying divert to the cuts that I never mentioned before and never had a problem with them or the lack of thereof.
>>11308059Nice try, but I'm not falling for it.
>>11308064This is actually a really hot image, if not for those brainrotten speech bubbles.
Is there a version without them? A girl in a suit and sunglasses is very hot.
>>11308061What key pose in the Vensen animation looks unnatural to you? Give me a time stamp.
>trying divert to the cutsI brought up the cuts specifically because I was pointing out how much more movement there was in this animation compared to the typical Scrag animation. You're of the opinion that this animation looks stiff despite the fact that there's more energy in the poses in this animation compared to a normal Scrag animation. This animation and Scrag's animations are going for different feelings. They're two different styles, so saying one is inherently better than the other is like saying FPS games are inherently superior to RTS games.
>>11308073The funny thing is that I decided to write out the unnatural looking key poses, but it turned out to be easier to write out the ones which are okay'ish (all the other ones, are unnatural): 5s. Ok, I ended up with only one okay'ish key pose because there was almost no movement in it.
>I brought up the cuts specifically because I was pointing out how much more movement there was in this animation compared to the typical Scrag animation. Not a good argument. Putting a bunch of spinning/flying bodies into animation is not a sign of good quality movement.
>>11308079>Not a good argument. It is a completely fair argument when you were the one who brought up the idea that this animation looked stiff. If you had said the characters look lighter that'd be different, and I'd agree with you. Their fast movements do make them look lighter. But they don't look stiff. They move like fighting game characters. The whole segment at 0:36 looks great. The characters interact with each other and the background. The throw on the ground looks great, the dropkick looks great. Obviously more time could be spent adding even more detail and more in-betweens, but the key poses that exist in that fighting segment are good. The intention of this animation is to show how quickly these characters move, and it succeeds there. Scrag's intentions are typically to show how heavy his characters are, and he generally succeeds there. Sometimes his jiggle physics are a little too sensitive, however, and could be reigned in.
I dunno man. It feels like we're being pedantic over the word "stiff", whereas you simply don't like this style of animation and prefer everything to be slow. I know I'll never convince you this animation has energy, I'm just really trying to understand how you could come to that conclusion. This guy wanted to make a light and snappy animation, and he made a light and snappy animation. The animation has a mix of fluid movement and choppy movement, which makes the choppy movement feel intentional. Animation is all about contrast after all, and it's not as easy as it looks. Obviously the guy isn't perfect (that's Eskoz) and has stuff to work on, but there's clear ability there.
You guys have gone on a complete tangent.
>>11307455To answer the original question: No, if you can animate like Vensen it won't necessarily help you be a good size artist, because there are different animation principles involved in convincingly selling size.
Also, Scrag is objectively the more experienced animator of the two. In addition to making most of his own rigs and using more complex techniques e.g. physics simulations, it wouldn't surprise me if Scrag has had some type of formal training/education in or around animation, while Vensen is a hobbyist.
>Scrag has 363k followers on twitter

>>11308163Sure when they're not ugly.
>>11308143>it wouldn't surprise me if Scrag has had some type of formal training/education in or around animationI don't think he's an animator, but he absolutely has drawing and sculpting skills.
>Vensen is a hobbyist. If he got hired by Hololive for music videos, doesn't that technically make him a professional?
>>11308148Scrag made a few tweets that did the rounds, starting with his animation where the grey Anon gets butt-slammed into a locker. That got him on plenty of radars, and plenty more when he made animations of Overwatch characters. Overwatch characters are extremely popular.
>even Eskoz has only 60kEskoz's stuff is more "extreme" compared to Scrag. Chances are if you like mild hyper proportions, you'll like Scrag's work. It's far more approachable. By contrast, I'm not sure how many people outside of this thread's niche would be into a succubus girl growing a dick, shoving her master into it, then blowing a load (containing her master) into her friend's mouth. By comparison, Eskoz's stuff is way more out there than Scrag's. Scrag's stuff is simply "big lady, big booba", whereas Eskoz is "big lady shoves tiny lady into the milk duct of a friend's breast." It's an acquired taste to say the least.
>>11308155You'd be hard pressed to find someone into this bullshit that didn't know who Eskoz was. Despite his lower follower count, Eskoz actually makes more than Scrag from patron sites. His Subscribestar and Patreon pull a combined 16K per month, which is fucking crazy. I do think his models now are pushing a little too far into the realism side of things, but the animation itself is stellar. I suppose his follower count is lower because he releases one or two animations a year, and seldom releases WiPs to the public. Not to mention they're all OCs, so he's not pulling in fans from franchises like Overwatch or whatever. I kinda wonder how much traction he'd get if he randomly made a DVa, Tracer, or Widowmaker animation.
>>11307553I'm not sure how much the plot synopsis gives away (and I'm too lazy to check), but I've read Micro myself in the past and it is absolutely brutal. It's been many years since I read it, but I recall one character being ripped apart by a group of ants, another swallowed alive by a bird, and the most horrifying is one character that survives having wasp larvae laid inside of himself at some point which later hatch resulting in an extremely painful death. It's a sobering example of how horrible shrinking could actually be, coming from someone that prefers shrink over growth.
On a slightly related note, it's not the only time Crichton incorporated shrinking into his writing. In Timeline, the main characters "time travel" but in actuality they're transported to a different dimension that's behind our timeline somehow, and the transportation is achieved by shrinking into quantum realms or something along those lines (again, it's been many years since I read it so my memory is vague). Not particularly relevant, but it comes up in my mind whenever I'm reminded of Micro.
>>11308181>If he got hired by Hololive for music videos, doesn't that technically make him a professional?True, I guess I used the wrong term. What I meant to say is that he's self-taught.

>>11308090>>113080791/2
Seems like the context u guys are missing is the history of "machinima" animation. Especially Garry's mod and TF2 fan animations. I'm pretty confident they are an inspiration to that animation. Just describing it as being like "fighting game characters" makes sense, since "machinima" originally just meant "animation created using a video game", but people riffing off of each other creating animations in Garry's mod created a unique animation tradition.
Some of the things that characterize this style are ridiculous poses and interactions (for comedic effect) fast smears (or even jumps with no smear) between key poses (originally to reduce work, but later as a stylistic choice), and interactions between rigidly posed characters, game animation characters, and physics simulation objects. (See especially the part of the animation where a chair and other objects are thrown and bounce off the rigid, unmoving character).
If you only know about traditional western animation, and anime, then this animation would be hard to analyze and make sense of. I can see how you could apply the term "stiff" since in traditional western animation, stiffness is a failure to understand how real physical objects move based on kinetic force, especially relating to characters moving their bodies in a way that makes them believable as a character with a physical body. Anime somewhat throws out this principle in service to style, but anime never nearly as far as is standard in g-mod style machinima.
>>113087732/2
The movement is often stiff. This is true, it is not prioritizing realistic physicality of the characters, but it is still skilled animation that is instead prioritizing g-mod/machinima style. You could call this "game like" or "comedic effect", but if you are unaware of the g-mod animation tradition, you really won't have a proper understanding that it isn't *just* "game like" and "comedic". More specifically, it is continuing a rich animation tradition developed by many skillful shitposting autists.
>>11307607I'm speaking from the perspective of optimization over deep semantic spaces, something we are still in very early days of. I'm not just speculating based on the results of current technology. If you don't know much about recommendation engines, try to read up a bit and then imagine an object that is a seamless fusion between a recommendation engine and multimodal generative AI. That's what I'm talking about
I agree that current image generation is indeed based on regression over the distribution of existing images, but to me, that doesn't seem to imply limits for future systems. Thoughts?

Also, the original Silver Age comics Ant-Man originates from would use shrinking like any other sci-fi concept at the time, for pulpy b-movie thriller scenarios. Ant-Man's first comic was just him shrinking to ant size and having to survive in an anthill. It was all played seriously and only looks goofy through the modern lens.

What kind of events/endings do you think might've been explored with other girls in Saeko. You know, if the team was 30 people instead of 3? I'm talking massively expanded Day segments where you get to interact in all sorts of the ways with the characters and build real relationships with them. It would require all sorts of specific conditions for you to unlock their ending instead of one of the current 3.
Some obvious ones:
>Moko ending where she pervertedly uses the tinies as sex toys.
>Clara ending where she takes over and rules the tinies, with Rin as her supervisor/tiny BF.
>Akari ending where her and Rin bond over their experience and start dating.

>>11311089I wrote a post on that subject
>>11304639...but it's kinda hard to imagine a narratively consistent alternate ending. The reason being that the cops seem like a red herring. Saeko says that a fate worse than death awaits her in the outside world. That's not about arrest. In Japan of 2008 irl, the Akihabara Massacre was committed and the perpetrator was sentenced to... death. He was executed by long drop hanging in 2022 a year before the game's development started, it was big news. Death is not a fate worse than death and long drop hanging by a hangman is not worse death than being crushed to death by your crush. Even serious injury or detainment seems extremely unlikely as a prime motivator. We see from Yui's cherry achievement that Saeko maintains some sort of passive spell of protection which does not require her to have any knowledge of an act of violence, it is extremely doubtful that firearms would be able to stop her against her will. We don't necessarily see the JSDAF jets in the genocide ending but I would not bet on their victory.
What she calls a fate worse than death would seem most likely to be tied to Schopenhauer's Pessimism (note her unreturned books). She seems to take Schopey's concept of life being validated by aesthetics very, very seriously while at the same time acknowledging that many aesthetic pleasures she values most such as fashion require other people, and her primary aesthetic joy is bound to inflicting rather than ameliorating suffering. This uncomfortable knowledge of valuing other people seems to be what motivates the entire story, that she put Rin in the desk as a test for herself just like she put Clara in as a test for Rin. If she can't do the genocide while seeing herself reflected in Rin's eyes then she might not have the interest in doing it at all, confining her to a life without her particular aesthetic pleasures due to the "honest" reaction of tiny people being destroyed if she becomes generally known.
>>11311089I think most people would have wanted a Kina ending where she's like a gentle femdom giantess or something.
>>11311141>We see from Yui's cherry achievement that Saeko maintains some sort of passive spell of protectionIs that what it was? I was so confused because it was never alluded to or referenced before or after to the point I almost thought it was translation weirdness and she just didnโt want to hit somebody who wasnโt into it (to contrast her with Saeko)
Wish I liked the game more but it didnโt live up to expectations for me
>>11311148Yui does seem to care about consent but as a positive thing to have rather than a thing that cannot be done without. She also seems sufficiently manipulative as to know how to produce consent if it was all-important for her. For those reasons she'd be a neat giantess and it is unfortunate that the only way she could get that position would be is Saeko willingly gave it to her. Possible as a side quest; "ohoho, this rough peasant woman thinks she has lessons in dominance to impart? Well then, I will give you three nights in which to teach me, sensei. Do not waste them." Seems impossible as an alt ending though.

>>11311267The fanart might also be held back by the game's strengths. Its really strong visual style, and the fact that point and click in the drawer is less interesting gameplay-wise than any conversation with Saeko. Talking to Saeko turns out to be the centerpiece even if it's still profoundly underexplored. Pixel artists aren't going to want to become giantess artists and vice versa. Thematically pixel art is typically about precise minimals to convey all subjects, mood, and information with a limited color palette focusing mostly on bright hues and bright-dark contrasts. Visual overload in pixel art is normally an overload of discrete details. Giantess art tends to aim for an overwhelming impression of one particular subject, typically by hiding the full view and using perspective, foreshortening, extensive shadowing and conveying the impression of surface textures. Most giantess pixel art is in the form of very brief animation, and very hard to pull off.
The fact that the game uses very mismatched art styles feels really intentional. It's a lot like looking for giantess art back in '08 really felt. You'd wind up going down the gts2/links or jinja-modokai aggregators looking at all these photo-collage collections on personal geocities pages with overcooked css and sometimes animated background wallpapers. Maybe you'd be lucky and giantessgarden would be hosting a doujin on par with Marie the Cyclone right next to some unrelated western art or some random nabs off of defunct giantess oekaki boards that week. Nothing really looked like Saeko at all but at the same time Saeko looks like the way you might feel after you walk away from the desktop. So translating the visual style will feel frustrating to a fanartist because you can't translate earlyweb schizocore to any unified coherent style.

Helps that I have a beefy GPU. I'm basically doing the same thing I was doing before AI, but now I can gen images of practically any character in existence. >>11311184The pictures still look like samey shit to me, but the chatbot ERP is what messes me up
I know its memory capacity falters and it shits the bed into also being samey like every other profile running its particular AI engine, but fuck, it's been a year or two and it still tickles the brain and the penis to get unashamed text responses for the scenarios you find hot

Does anyone have that Matara Kan x Zentreya Kaiju battle pic from a while ago?

AI images on the other hand I can't get into for some reason. Maybe because of how limited they are and how obviously generated the product is

There's bras that are designed kinda like a corset for armpit and back fat. They aren't popular because they restrict movement and are more uncomfortable. But they exist.
