>...You think we drink water?
Topkek, this reminds me of an interactrion from today. I am visiting this restaurant here in Prague, and there is this young British woman sitting down on a table next to me. She has a short, unfeminine hair cut, is plump, is overweight (but not obese), and is very manly dressed. Altogether, it took me a while to recognize she as female.
Anyways, the waiter comes and she orders:
>She: "I want a "San Pellegrino".
>The waiter: "You know that this is just sparkling water?? This is without favor. You know that?
>She: "Oh then, then I will order…" (looks at the menu) "this soft drink here"
Kek. The waiter thought English native speakers = Anglos = sugar water drinkers.
I found this to be a funny and sad observation, but to be honest the waiter should not have made her feel like ordering "San Pellegrino" is a weird choice that she is not expected to make.
