Why did TUT training die?
Was it just too boring?

No one wants to count in seconds multiple phases of a lift. That's in addition to the mental count of reps that's always there.

>No one wants to count in seconds multiple phases of a lift. That's in addition to the mental count of reps that's always there
>count of reps that's always there
until u stop counting
and stop repping
>u still need to count seconds or watch timer or sth
says who? he's retarded, like u bot

i have stumbled upon greatest improvement in hypertrophy training ever devised bot
>what is it?
only parts of motions known as exercises utilize muscle properly, and most motions do not do what they are advertised for

> n-nooo u don't need to feel the muscle hooman
> it's completely irrelevant which muscle and to what degree u're using during exercise - just do the motion
na-ah bot
>but how will u know u're doing sth without instant "i have lifted tha weight" gratification ?

>CBum humiliates Sam Sulek and David Laid.
what is he actually focusing so much on bot, it's that bloated retard from the picture, he's got no clue how to get long head of biceps as evidenced by the picture (it's ur picture bot, u used it in one of your it's le gemnetics - ur gemnetics is trash hooman) and i use it here against u - long head is the exactly same shape and size, nothing changed in his biceps since he started roidooting late teens

what is c-bum ACTUALLY doing when he's exercising, what is he thinking about so much ?

TUT IS the goal bot, the only goal :D

It's just at the beginning, after a few sessions you do it automatically. You just need some concentration.
But in the end yeah, it's a bit boring and I like to listen to podcast or radio while lifting, so concentration is in other task.

Because its a dogshit training "method". Ontop of being boring , its just unintuitive.
Also your pic just demonstrates how dumb this shit is. Whats the point of pausing at the top and bottom of a curl? At the bottom there is no tension, and at the top the tension is in your strongest position, why would you pause at the contraction at the top? So you already wasted 3 seconds doing pointless shit. PER REP.
Now why would you spend FOUR seconds to lower a rep? Yes, controlled eccentrics are good, but this should take longer than two seconds.
The one thing thats been figured out is "tempo", and its basically the same for strength and muscle.
Eccentric, under control, then explosive concentric.

I assume it's the top and bottom of the effective ROM where there is tension on the muscle, not the ROM your mobility allows.

botposter is right. cbums biceps are terrible.
see zoomers in the gym preacher curl 1/4 reps, because they cannot do full range of motion with the same weight, they are missing out on gains and have shit insertions.
go all the way, or go home.

in the middle bot, and u gotta support elbow not humerus so that there's no torque on shoulder flexing front delt and precluding long head of biceps from contracting properly
>ya lean on elbow and hold don't ya?

Because it's the same stimulus but more time. As far as I've seen explained it's not the time you spend near failure that gets that mtor signaling kicking of mps. It is particular peaks mechanical of tension during the reps that does it. Muscle fibers are wrapped in this sensory lattice work we refer to as mechanosensors. While they're not incredibly understood yet in mammals at least it appears their signaling isn't constant or sustained it just spits out this shit in the quantity it wants and won't give any more until the conditions are met again (a peak in tension followed by a recession)

I just found some random dude do them the correct way:
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/RSyEs4xYAMI
Don't really understand what you mean by "top and bottom of the effective ROM" because he's clearly pausing in the middle where its the hardest and best, and no pause at the top so he actually did it exactly like I suggested here >>76501870

NO BOT, MIDDLE OF THE MOTION BOT, THE ONLY PART WHERE MUSCLE WORKS - DO THAT, JUST THAT, AS ISOMETRIC HOLD , RACK UP TREAL TIME UNDER TENSION (the only thing that matters) = GIT MUSCLE

>>76501991
> It is particular peaks mechanical of tension during the reps that does it.
WHY NOT DO JUST THAT PART THAT MATTERS BOT? IS THERE ANYTHING STOPPING ME? :D
>>76502001
WELL NO BOT, I SEE U GIVING UP :d
the problem with curl is that front delt is pinching long head of biceps tendon (delt prevents shoulder extension holding humerus in place), here's how to mitigate it:
>>76501976
>and u gotta support elbow not humerus so that there's no torque on shoulder flexing front delt and precluding long head of biceps from contracting properly
preachers support humerus not elbow :D huge difference, so u lean on elbow while sitting trapping humerus between bench and your weight or just hug a ball to your chest, and there is also conscious muscle flexing WHILE U EXPERIENCE THE LOAD ON IT

Based on the available evidence no there's nothing stopping you from doing limited RoM reps and seeing the full results of hypertrophy. The only downside I can see is a reduction in mobility over time. Since weightlifting contains a stretching component it it usually preserves mobility without the need for additional stretching. But if you do all your lifts without that you might need to incorporate stretching to retain the same mobility.

dickhead, stop yelling.
you talking about pause reps or range of motion?
time under tension is the concentric and eccentric phases of the movement.
you're as clear as mud here and your 1mb brain processor has short circuited. I cannot believe I'm wasting my time replying to you, you stupid cunt.

Not all muscles have the same strength curve. For instance biceps peak on tension and recruitment in the middle of their rom, chest tends peak near the end of pushing moments. You should know this stuff by now c'mon

>Why did TUT training die?
Many training methods and theories (spot reduction, toning, fasted cardio, partials, high reps, muscle confusion etc etc) died when nerds and dorks entered fitness and replaced empiric training with theoretical training "science", stats, studies and min-maxing, "one size fits all" approaches. Basically, people like on here ruined fitness like they ruin everything.

We now have guys like Jeff Nippard cementing the status quo and stagnating/regressing with their dork crowd and schizos instead of actual people trying and finding out new stuff. Because that could go wrong and people are deathly afraid of being wrong nowadays.

You can see this in any sport, it's part of the communist takeover.
