I honestly dont see anything wrong with this. If you did some research into obesity the main culprit to blame is the megacorporations who sell addictive ultra processed foods and the governments who let them do it with reckless abandon

We load up toddlers and kids with junk food, rewire their brains to have a lifetime of issues with food regulation because their bodies are now permanently 'broken' with food regulation, and then tell them to suck it up and its their fault

I think as a society its time to stop ostracising heroin addicts, fat people, homeless people and to at least have some compassion for them. It doesnt mean we absolve them from all responsibility. They still have to carry the weight of their problems (lol), but ultimately a bit of understanding can help push people

Telling people its all their fault definitely doesnt help, but if you sit down a fat person, frankly tell them in no certain terms that they have a disease. They have an addiction to food, their leptin resistance, ghrelin and insulin resistance has permanently shifted due to ultra processewd foods and to prescribe exercise, diet, better sleep, better education on how junk food is literally a drug and to treat their food issues like they have alcoholism or something, it starts to get easier than "youre fat because youre a loser with no impulse control"

It is backwards currently, its a shame governments are spinless and STILL let the megacorps sell slop to everyone with flagrant disregard to peoples health. Its especially horrible that kids eat lots of it, and a lot of megacorps specifically target kids

They already did that with morbid obesity, it's now severe obesity. And it used to start at BMI>35, now it's at >40, obesity still starts at 30. Now they want to rename obesity in general.
