are these enough to build an aesthetic thicker neck?

The thing about neck isolation exercises for me is that I've yet to find one that doesn't make me think "I can't fucking do this 3x a week for the rest of my life just to have a normal looking neck".
When I'm laying there with a towel between a plate and my forehead and my neck extending over the edge of a bench or a table I think "there's no way I am doing this for the next 40 years". It's not that it looks silly but it's more that it's such an unnatural movement. It makes me angry. I'm angry that I have to do cumbersome, ungainly weighted neck movements to look normal.
For some reason neck exercises above all others make me think this isn't fair, that I shouldn't need to do this goofy shit just to look the same as someone who doesn't train their neck. I cannot get over that mental hurdle for neck exercises.

I want a turtle looking neck so i can tank a punch, am i supposed to just flex all the time because sometimes mike has a huge neck sometimes he doesnt. Am i supposed to try and get the deep fibers or what? I have a boxing helmet some paracord and one of those wrist roller pl8 holders but i always have to do light workouts because im worried lifting it wrong and heavy would result in slipped discs or intraspinal muscular imbalances since a lot of wrestlers have fused discs.

>double chin kept while holding isometric shrug bot - first thing i noticed was sternocleidomastoid growth, and levator scapulae bot (front of neck and back of neck)
>second thing i noticed is that neck pain is gone and it happened here and there with repeated looking back :D

Just get a resistance band and attach it to something and pull
You can even wrap a towel around your head and pull with your arms

flexion and extension, more than enough for aesthetics
combat sports need rotation and side to sides
