Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 0.72g per pound of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and lose fat much quicker. Not lifting results in the body eating away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.

I was going to run a 1500 deficit and eat about 1200 calories or so for a week, so I can still get 100g+ protein in this way and have a tiny amount of room for making sure I’m getting other vitamins from fruits and whatever else but I’m kind of tempted to do a 500 cal OMAD for a couple days, like dipping my toes into fasting but never actually fasting for more than 24h. Is it worth trying or not?

For a 2 day fast there is no amount of muscle loss worth worrying about. Just make sure to get enough protein when not fasting. And keep weight training. The muscles need stimulus to be maintained. Same weight but 33-66% as many sets as you normally do. You'll lose some electrolytes, so you can add sodium, potassium, and magnesium to your water. They sell "fasting salts" or you can buy them individually.
Juice has calories so it would break your fast, even a small glass.

Okay thanks, yeah I’m still doing cardio too but I decided to fast on a whim. I haven’t lifted heavy for a little over a week so I’m without the stimulus there and I figured I’d give a fast a try over the weekend and I’m already a day into it, but I can’t imagine I’d be losing tremendous amounts of muscle because of a 2-3 day fast. Fasting makes you piss out your electrolytes. Usually lightheadedness, headaches, increased thirst or muscle cramps are the first symptoms of low electrolytes. Sweating would make you lose some more. Adding 1-2 teaspoons of table salt to water a day would be enough. Dilute it with a lot of water and just drink it throughout the day. The others probably aren't worth worrying about if you just want to try it out. But the normal recommendation is 3-5g sodium, 1g potassium, 500mg magnesium per day. They work in tandem, so the balance of them is important. Only supplementing sodium could cause issues if you did that long term, so just keep it in mind if you try it again.

Whoa, that 40 kilos weight loss that happened to me over the last year of calorie counting was all a dream.
Bros is there such a thing as a shrunken stomach or do I have some health issues?
I genuinely didn't really focus on weight loss after somewhat giving up around 103kg (was 110kg December), but somehow I started eating less not because I wanted to, but because I felt like suffocating when pigging out.
Now I feel like I literally can't fit as much in me as I could before. I also had some random gastro issues prior. (gerd/ibs type stuff)
Now I'm 94,5kg after drinking like 750ml-1liter and eating two huge burgers. Was 93~ ish when I woke up.
I was hovering around 97 a couple days ago I'm almost certain.
I was 101-103 for most of summer too.
Nothing major changed, at least not that I could perceive it in the recent days. I'm spooked as fuck. I'll start noting down my weight daily from now on if I don't forget.
Anyone knows a good brand for a scale and maybe even bp cuffs that synch to your phone or something so a lazy retard like me can track shit?
Due to this general feeling of fullness and other symptoms I'm gonna hit up a doctor, because I had multiple people near me die from cancer like that and it looked horrific...
Maybe I'm just imagining shit. Maybe it's water weight idk. I'm scared.
Counting calories is beyond me for now still, but again, I still pig out it's just that I'm full faster now.
Been feeling really exhausted lately too, but that could just be my bloodpressure meds with the 48-50bpm resting heart rate.

I had a chocolate bar and a bag of tortillas I consumed over the past 2 days, the bag was 1500 calories alone and that on top of what felt like my "usual" eating.
I really wish I tracked everything I ate so I could make sure, but again, I really don't make any effort is why I'm spooked combined with the seeming lack of space in my stomach.
So maybe it's because I'm super obese for my height is the reason for the high rate of weight loss... okay... bit calmer now.

Yeah, you need to build some muscle. Calisthenics should be enough as long as you do most of your sets to failure and keep adding reps (or clean up your reps if you cant add any) while eating enough protein to actually build some muscle as long as you train every muscle of your body you can. At your weight and height gaining additional muscle shouldn't be too hard to gain and every pound of muscle makes losing fat so much easier in the long run.

it's a good start. at the start of a diet you have more to lose and a lot of it is water weight at first. remember, we want to lose fat and preserve (or even grow) muscle. weight is just one measurement, waist measurements can be more useful to track actual fat loss. so like the other anon said, you should know that'll slow down and be prepared for it.

Stevia is just way too potent of a sweetener that it ends up tasting weird. If you combine it with erythritol to get a similar amount of bulk as regular sugar then you end up with a much more tolerable taste. It's still not the same as sugar though, but replacing half your sugar with that mix is relatively okay.
It's noticeable in tea, but I can't really tell in coffee.
That being said, it's pricey.

i know that there was a study where two groups were given he same amount of calories.

Slower than I anticipated, but I guess 3 lb a week is okay.
When I reflect back on my eating habits I knew exactly what I was doing in eating too much junk but just let the weight incrementally go up and justified it to myself by telling myself that I would deal with it soon™, while all the time the weight just kept on going up.
Anyway, here's some of the things I'm doing

Used to eat a lot of burgers, fries, pizza, hot dogs etc.. Now I'm leaning more towards meat, vegetables, potatoes, salads, eggs, and soda bread.

I started Wegovy (0.25mg) on the 16th of August on a saturday. Just took my first 0.5mg dose yesterday.
Started at 90.8kg and now im at 82.6kg
I lost 8.6kg in 4 weeks.
Used to get low blood sugar episodes, constantly hungry, thinking about food, driving me crazy.

I posted here last week, and still working on everything. I'm feeling great about my progress on a macro level, but on the micro, I feel discouraged. I've been hovering now around the same weight for a couple months after losing so much. I'm really close to my goal of 185lbs, but it seems like I can have a day where I eat 1200 calories... and the next day be up 2lbs. I know that's not really fat, but still.
I started taking creatine a couple weeks ago and it definitely makes my muscles pop in the right light. Not noticing any real strength gains, but that's been kinda cool. However, I hate the few pounds of water weight it's given me. That's discouraging, even if I like the way I look more.
