Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 1g per lb of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and burn fat much quicker. No lifting results in the body burning away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.

Drink your calories (alcohol, soda, starbucks).

2 things have helped me with this. 1. learning more about stoicism and try to practice stoic thinking in daily life. 2. reading "can't hurt me" by david goggins. Not trying to get you to buy the book either, you can pirate it off Anna's Archive for free.
Both of those things combined have helped me push through several obstacles in my life recently which would have severely set me back before.

when I had it before(chicken breast specifically) it was always dry with the shredded strings of chicken being kinda tough but I cooked it myself yesterday and it turned out moist and soft
didn't do anything special, cooked it in a small dutch oven with a bit of fat at low temp for two hours, seasoned with lots of sweet red pepper paste and some spices
maybe not amazing but definitely the best way I had chicken breast that's compatible with cooking in bulk which was my goal, so I can reduce how much I time I spend cooking/thinking about food
I'll try chicken thighs without added fat next time

I made the same mistake.
Huel absolutely wrecked my guts. Constant diarrhea and farts. Threw out most of two packs.
Since then, regular meal replacement drinks became available in grocery stores where I live and I used them a bunch. Those are much better since they're whey based. But replacing 100% of your meals with them also probably won't work, they're less filling than a solid meal with the same macros and calories, so now that I'm back to IF I stopped drinking those.
There's just nothing that beats actually filling you up than chicken and veggies.

After being on keto for months and having cheat meals weekly (usually either clean take out like chipotle, or keto-ish foods like a huge burger without fries), I can confidently say humans are not meant to be eating carbs consistently. One of the biggest things I noticed from switching to keto is how much less bloat you get from eating food.
I always thought this was normal and just what it feels like to be "full" (gut pops out after a meal like you're preggo, goes away after an hour) but nope. Make a 2 gallon minestrone soup. A must in it:
2lb cellery

4lb carrots

1lb green beans
2lb onions granola (you can mix different sizes for texture)
1lb sweet peas
6 cans of crushed tomatoes
Pureed tomato and if avail, pureed bell pepper
Italian herbs as seasoning, add as much chili and cayenne as you want to make it tasty
You don't need to add salt, but add enough chicken fondue/broth cubes to make it tasty.
If you like hot dogs, you can add 1-2lb of them.
Prepare everything in the oven so you won't need additional oil, the hot dogs have plenty of fat.
You control your carb amount (if you workout a lot and need glycogen) by adding pasta to every portion you're about to eat. Make sure the pasta has 13-14% protein.

What you're eating sounds chaotic, you don't seem to be in control.

If you'd be craving for something sweet it'd usually be your body demanding glycogen. It can happen when you're training intensely during maint/slight defic.

Your hunger sounds more like nutrition deficiency, propably from eating utter bullshit. Beef is okish, but there are better options. Seems like you fry most of your food, that adds +10-15% to your daily consumed calories.

Plan your meals, cook them yourself.

Make a 2 gallon minestrone soup. A must in it:
2lb cellery
2lb onions
4lb carrots
2lb red lentils
1lb green beans
2lb onions granola (you can mix different sizes for texture)
1lb sweet peas
6 cans of crushed tomatoes
Pureed tomato and if avail, pureed bell pepper
Italian herbs as seasoning, add as much chili and cayenne as you want to make it tasty
You don't need to add salt, but add enough chicken fondue/broth cubes to make it tasty.
If you like hot dogs, you can add 1-2lb of them.
Prepare everything in the oven so you won't need additional oil, the hot dogs have plenty of fat.
You control your carb amount (if you workout a lot and need glycogen) by adding pasta to every portion you're about to eat. Make sure the pasta has 13-14% protein.

By being on the move towards the gym for instance you basicly physically bring yourself closer to your goal and by that you have all kinds of sensory perception on the way there that acts as a literall muse then while managing what internal stuff you listen to considering your long term play (your happiness and genuine joy derived from goal completion) you come to the best possible at that time play and you just play that (small W). Basicy stack small Ws, that shit WILL compound and the longer you consistently do that the closer you are to genuine happiness, by getting closer you autocorrect all these things that bother you today untill you're at the place of just handling shit with ease

I've been forcing myself to eat food I dislike. One day I was extremely hungry from not having eaten in 18 hours plus just got done with my physical exercise routine. Ideally you want to always work out when you are losing weight to keep the muscle you have. The body won't catobilize muscle that you use unless absolutely necessary. So as long as you eat enough protein, get enough sleep and workout you won't lose what little you have.
1g protein per lb bw is the general guideline, but if you're mostly fat you can do like 1.6g per lb lean body mass. But as a general rule more protein = better up until a certain point.
