Poining out that this anons's gens are objectively bad compared to stuff you could always do with Flux anyways isn't being a schizo lmao.

I like Chroma a lot, but for what it actually is / probably should have been called (e.g. something that called back to Furryrock, which was the same guy's claim to fame on SD 1.5, and which makes it more clear what it's very very obvious Chroma's dataset actually mostly consists of if you really use Chroma for any length of time).

this was Chroma V38 not-detail-version, Euler Ancestral Beta @ CFG 6.5, prompt of:
`a photograph of a television screen displaying a news interview segment. The subject of the interview is a thin, pale-skinned Caucasian man in his late 30s, who is identified by the on-screen text as a "DIGITAL PROPHET:". He has a very distinctive appearance, with his black hair styled into a dense forest of tall, sharp spikes that stand straight up from his scalp. He wears a pair of large, thick-framed eyeglasses with completely transparent frames and lenses. His expression is somber and serious, with his dark eyes looking slightly down and away from the camera. He is dressed in a simple black collared shirt. The man is shown from the chest up, seated in what appears to be a television studio with a plain background consisting of a white wall, a large red horizontal stripe, and the frame of a window on the far left. A news chyron runs along the bottom of the screen, featuring the blue and white logo for "THE CYCLE" on the left, with a smaller box underneath it that says "Tech Talk". The main text on the chyron, next to the "DIGITAL PROPHET:" label, reads, "New trend will be defriending and unfollowing". A third line of text at the very bottom of the graphic states, "FREE DRONES EYES will ASK CONGRESS TODAY". Additional graphics on the screen include a logo in the top left corner that says "THE LIVE 270" and a timer in the top right corner displaying "2:77".`

And note of course all the text is actually readable / non smudged / etc

I read the post, it seems like he takes the last 15 frames of the previous video, adds the desired # of gray frames - 15 (for example, 81 frame video will have 15 frames of the og vid and 76 new extended frames), and that's fed to the control_video on the WanVaceToVideo node. What I like about this video is since it takes multiple frames from the previous method into account instead of just the last frame it keeps some motion/inertia from the previous video.

I'm hoping I can try this method to connect two videos together instead of just extending the first one as I have multiple gens that need to be seamlessly connected together.

A long time given it's 8.9B and expensive to finetune. There's only been two finetunes of SDXL (3.5B in comparison) that do that, illustrious and noob. Noob won't happen again because the based chicom who made it social engineered to get the hardware and will never get it again. I didn't say or imply in any way that it was "better" than anything in particular (it's not finished after all), the point was anyone who has actually used Chroma is lying if they are claiming it's not primarily "Furryrock Flux Edition" (as you would expect it to be).

Like Lodestone or whatever his name is is "The Guy Who Made Furryrock" to most people who have been in the community for any reasonable amount of time, this is not in any way a secret or some kind of conspiracy.

Anyways TLDR this is yet another example of someone interpreting a thing I said in one of these threads in a way that makes absolutely no fucking sense at all to anyone who reads and speaks English natively and also isn't an intentional contrarian weirdo. Just stop.

both Lumina 2 and Cosmos 2 are slower than SD 3. 5 Medium pretty noticeably inference-wise yeah.

IMO 3.5 Medium has better raw image quality in terms of straight-up fidelity than either of those (it's not turboslopped or JPEGed, can actually do raw photographic gens out of the box, etc, basically it seems more like a model trained by a company who had actually trained other models before in that regard), but also it's noticeably not as coherent (at least without a combination of Skip Layer Guidance and like ClownsharkBatwing's custom Comfy sampler suite).

So the whole situation is kinda "monkey's paw", unfortunately

yeah it definitely needed more time in the oven last I tried it. I think it was clearly worth pursuing though IMO, I really don't see what the fuck OnomaAI can do on XL past Illu 3.5.

Cosmos 2 would frankly be a better target than Lumina 2 though I'd argue, at this point, if you had to choose from it and Lumina and 3.5 Medium for a 2Bish model size. It basically mogs the other two in every regard beyond raw fidelity (it's somewhat noticeably JPEGy, for some kinds of gens).

VR diffusion is more viable than it might sound at first. All we need is a good free 3D model generator that can create environments and rigged character models. Then another set of models for generating the animations and voice/text. 3D model animations are lightweight, so it should be feasible to run it alongside the other two and a 3D VR engine in realtime.

It's ~65% trained and only recently there's a fork that bumped training resolution from 512 to 1024. I've generated lots of images with good anatomy, someone posted some weird ass yoga poses to 'prove' it can't generate anatomy.

It will NOT generate as good anatomy as Flux dev unless it is distilled, but the reason Flux dev generates good anatomy is because in distilling it, they cherry picked generated images from Flux Pro of different great anatomy poses and overtrained those so that yes, you get great anatomy, but you have the same small pool of poses repeated over and over again, at this point you might as well use img2img.
