But romance in any media is for two people: women and romancefags (also women). Women like romance shit cause that's the only thing their brains understand when it comes to life. Since sex and such is so important to them, this romance shit, whether straight or gay, gets injected into any media they get their hands on. Cause that's all they care about.

Gay shit is a worse version of this because now you as the writer is doubling down that you only care about how someone is intimate with another, which now makes it into smut. I can understand the sentiment, and oftentimes it really does feel scummy, but attaching a patreon to emulators has allowed some of them to progress faster than they otherwise would have. It requires enough interest, obviously, but if you can use patreon to fund your programmers they can focus on making the emulator work full time instead of just doing it in their spare time. Cemu IIRC benefitted a lot from this and so did at least one of the OG Switch emulators.

IIRC the mistake the Switch emulators made was that they started pointing people towards early leaks of Nintendo games if not outright distributing them, and that was what finally brought down Nintendo's wrath on them.

So is it actually good or are people just hyped to shit? The Garterbelt lips thing genuinely didn't inspire much confidence, but I'm willing to steal the episode if they didn't pussy out on anything else.
