the future of the internet is infinitely detailed surveillance technology
there are no possible alternatives, only increasingly invasive surveillance that not only doesn't benefit you, but actively harms you (increasing insurance rates, hatespeech violations, invasive psychological profiles, red flag laws, etc). there's no possible positive direction for this to go and anyone pretending there is is a dupe.
technology objectively fucking sucks and i dont know why anyone would want to contribute to its development in 2025 beyond shortsighted careerism. fuck everyone who turned the internet into this.
