i do believe there will be a period of instability followed by a period of abundance. if ai takes all the jobs, that means AI is in the economy. AI can revolutionize the economy, and grow it very fast. AGI will be superhuman in all intellectual tasks.

this does not exist, the field is swarmed with thirdies and wagies, big money isn't spend on engineer/researcher salaries like in every field.
stick to cs and if you want to make big money focus on applying your skills to finance.
