You can work for east yuro companies remotely. Most companies here are outsourcing agencies without products of their own and they just employ developers for some foreign companies. I work for one of those and there are plenty people who work B2B with the agency. So essentially you'd be working B2B2B.
And also since the client is foreign and the agency itself doesn't give a flying fuck, you can work fully remote from wherever the fuck you want if you can handle the timezone shift.

My biggest complaint about company structure is when a position does open, they will only hire in house if you screw yourself. I applied for a system admin position at my old job after working there four years, they offered me $10k extra on my $40k/year salary when I knew the guy who came before was making over $100k. For me I want to build data centers as a engineer so my ball park estimation is server related certifications, networking, training on how to program and general lab experience. It may not be a perfect pigeon hole for that job but generally that would be the main reason why you would want to get extra certs.
