some of my favorite shitposts about QA are real because our scopes and what we put up with are so fucked and horribly structured that basic functionality can slip through to the player. i once worked on a game that crashed on new game start if you didnt have the DLC installed, and this somehow also got past nintendo AND sony submission processes. what the fuck man

The subtext in the conflict between the NCR and Legion is the end goal of Old Worlders choosing to live in the ruins of society to build it back vs tribals conquering each other trying build something new, it's not some left vs right bullshit. It's old Worlders who want to go back to the state western democracies were in before the war to civilize the wastes vs tribals who want a government that is skeptical of technology but authoritarian enough to civilize the wastes as well. The NCR and Legion would both technically be far right factions anyways
