Brave gaining monthly users. 91.5M monthly active users now. Up from 88M last month.
Prob the only browser thats gaining traction now.
I redeemed all my 100 BAT tokens
too bad they are worth peanuts
why is BAT not mooning, considering the many MAJeets?
The Eichenreich shall rise and the world will know he was right
>>105802333Holy mother of based.
>"He served as the Mozilla Corporation's chief technical officer before he was appointed chief executive officer, but resigned shortly after his appointment due to pressure over his opposition to same-sex marriage.[2] He subsequently became the cofounder and CEO of Brave Software."https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brendan_Eich
When will Brave support JPEG XL?
>>105802283 (OP)What percentage of that 91M is Indian?
I have the Brave browser on my iphone because it has working adblock, but it's really bad otherwise. It's very slow compared to Safari, which is saying something.
>>105802615To be fair you are using a homosexual mobile OS. Brave works best on a non-homosexual mobile OS like Android.
>>105802283 (OP)wont be long, (((google))) will do everything to take it down
>>105802638Brave counters homosexual ads
>>105802283 (OP)I would like to give this browser a try but I am really discouraged by all the cryptoniggerfaggotry and their affiliate link hijacking. Is there an independent fork without this thing?
>>105802669yes, it's called chromium
>>105802638Android is trashy though. Even the Windows phone was better.
>>105802283 (OP)that one spamming firetranny mindbroken by the lion is going to explode
I just disable all of the other shit. Prob should just use ungoogled chromium, but I like the built in Tor browser.
>>105802354brendan "third reich" eich
>provide built in adblock
>acquire users
impressive desu
Seems like a bad thing, if Brave ends up at a significant percentage of useragents then Google will assign a dozen indians to spend all their work hours trying to break its adblock filters.
>>105803052The Firefox with the uBlock Origin are objectively better than the Brave and its built-in ad blocker anyway!
>>105803200eh, I was having issues on my android and I just installed brave and it just werks :tm: no fiddling or extensions
>>105802295Soon.
Billions must blocks ads.
>>105803200Firefox is a hot mess at the moment
brave doesn't feel faster than firefox. I can't put my finger on them but they have weird little tricks in brave that's supposed to make it feel faster like the new tab animation but it's not faster in a real way browsing the web, loading youtube or sites like that.
>>105802283 (OP)It's the best browser but they should remove the Tor option, Brave Talk, Brave News, and VPN. They should also rethink how ads are displayed if you choose to activate Rewards. Notifications as ads is terribly annoying, more so than any other advertisement method. The spellcheck dictionary is lacking and translate should be more seamless.
>>105802309Because the browser is good but the token is fucking retarded. People want to browse the internet with no ads. No one wants to get paid a tenth of a cent to watch an ad.
>>105804787There's documentation on their website for configuring policies that disable most of the features you named.
>>105802936No but anyone who wants to implement scheme but end up with Javascript is.
firefox chads, what's our response?
I still use Firefox, but I like Brave, it's fine when you disable all of the web3 crypto shit, and having a built-in anonymous AI that isn't building a marketing profile on you is quite nice.
However their search engine is one of the worst things I've ever fucking used.. total absolute garbage that doesn't even respect basic shit like exact string searches with quotation marks, much less something like filetype: or site:.. maybe it's better now, I don't know, but that shit was so bad when I used it that I'm still seething about it years later
>>105802283 (OP)>Brave cares about your privacy>BRO WE HAVE 100 MILLION USERS MANHow do they know? Respect privacy? lol
>>105806410Every time bro the most anti X are caught doing it. Every single fucking time.
Anti gay politicians? All fucking boys in the prayer room.
It's simple
>I don't like gaysNot a boy fucker
>I don't like gays and give money to anti gay bills, foundations, whateverBoy fucker
>>105802283 (OP)i switched to brave when mozilla announced their evil terms of service changes for firefox. with brave i can rest assured that i will be safe. thank you brave browser.
>>105803200It's the fucking same, just switch on "aggressive" mode and add some more filters.
Vivaldi is now the best browser
Brave is a palantir honeypot
>>105806051Brave makes money by running crypto miners, hijacking affiliate links, posing as celebrities to receive donations and various other scummy schemes. No wonder its userbase is composed mostly of clueless third-worlders.
>>105806961They're all the same shit which is chromium. Like how Librewolf is just a Firefox with a custom user.js.
Yet another browser for faggots
brave is the only browser I tried that keeps youtube playing in background
>>105808153Ive been doing this in Firefox in 2012 through 2025.
But I can see that Brave spend some money on marketing hinthint and of course the guillable retards on /g/ fall for it
>>105802354This is why trannies hate brave
>>105802283 (OP)A Chrome reskin is not an alternate browser.
>>105806423This is just anti-religion propaganda you picked up from watching 'edgy' late night comedy cartoons as a kid.
At this point I'm convinced that gayve is a government honeypot, the shilling is relentless and the most obnoxious I have ever seen. There is no way an average /g/ user will be so positive so consistently about anything yet brave usually is mentioned like the best thing ever by swarm of posters almost at the same time.
>>105809259This is the same case with any new product displacing old user base.
>smartphone bad>touchscreen bad>electric cars bad>flat screen tvs bad>HDTV bad>ai badLosers who stay behind get left behind
Iโm not using a scammy crypto cuck meme browser, thanks
>trying out new things
>get LibreWolf and WaterFox
>CPU usage >1%
alright that seems fine
>put PC to sleep with 18 waterfox tabs open, mostly text websites, ads blocked
>wake it back up next morning
>CPU USAGE 78%!!!!
>idle temp 48c
>top use: waterfox
what the FUCK is this janky shit doing?!
Back to Pale Moon ig
>>105809307did you seriously compared real technology to a shitty browser?
Their browser seems whatever, but I do use their search.
I used to use duckduckgo but it's both shit and faggy, so I switched to brave. So far it's been good enough.
Brave is the future, it beats all other browsers
The Brave economy.
Food security of entire small towns in India depend on this browser, do not let it fail.
>>105809750Pajeets redeemโd Chrome and Firefox more doe
>>105810283NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU CANT JUST
>>105810283Firefoxbros... I don't feel so good...
>>105802283 (OP)i use firefox but brave search
>>105809319>what the FUCK is this janky shit doing?!Waterfox, firefox in general really, doesn't have sleeping tabs or any kind of way to put tabs into the background. So if you have a resource hog of a browser tab open, it's never going to sleep.
There are browsers that have that and you should use one of those. Floorp includes it by default.
>>105812054just use https://leta.mullvad.net bro
>>105814864didn't know it existed. Thanks.
>>105802283 (OP)Another made up facts from twitter
>>105803200Yes but my penis is not chopped off so I'll stick with brave.
>>105802283 (OP)so does this confirm they still have telemetry even if you disable it?
>>105817126It's X (formerly Twitter) now
So what about the Mullvad browser?
>>105821803neat, I've been using Firefox since forever, I might just move to Mullvad or Tor,
but Tor scares me
