I had to temporarily switch to Google's stock pixel rom after using GrapheneOS for 3 years due to a feature that sadly isn't available w/ GOS. Are there any ways to further "secure" the stock rom from law enforcement? Already aware of Google's advanced protection program and that certainly is one step forward but sadly it only incorporates 1 or 2 features that you get for granted on GrapheneOS.

So is anyone here good with iPhones? My phone (12 Pro Max 256GB) seems to have a glitch where it artificially increases my storage every time I move some kind of data from it. It also happens when I try to make a backup or enable stuff like iCloud Photos. I’ve looked up and down the internet and while I find people with similar ‘phantom storage’ problems it’s nothing like what I have where it’s this consistent problem with the same thing.
Is anyone else familiar with this and what might be causing it?

Got myself the iPhone 16 Pro max 512gb model and it didn't disappoint. I have accepted that for the best phone experience you gotta buy apple. All the rest feel half ass’d and are all annoying to use.

I got Pixel 6 pro and ever since my phone updated to Android 16 I've been having some bad battery draining issues.
My phone dies overnight and the battery usage shows System Apps taking up 50-95% of my battery.

I also noticed that the phone is constantly sending out data, I used to keep it next to my speakers and it would cause interference only when it was receiving a call or text message or it would go off for like 10 seconds once every 30 minutes.
now its constantly causing speaker interference unless I place it in airplane mode.
All backup processes are finished, all apps are closed, fresh reboot, I have no idea what it's doing.

I looked in developer options for running services, idk enough about Android to see if there is something there causing this.
I see something called adaptive connectivity services running all the time.

whats going on here?
btw, any aftermarket ROM that you can recommend me? this thing is full of bloat that I cant remove, fucking health tracking apps and google tv, and tips, saftey and other bs shit i dont want and cant disable.

it really is a solid phone. going strong 7 years now but the processing power is showing its age (just trying to view pictures takes a freeze and ages to load), the cameras are not great (never were), and now it is literally falling apart. Thing is i really like OnePlus, they got some great features and the build quality was good back then and from reviews i take it is still good now (IP69 and features like AquaTouch really make the OnePlus 13 attractive imho), but them discontinuing the 3.5mm jack after the OnePlus 6 is a huge turnoff (among other things like the gigantic phone size). Got any recommendations for a worthy successof of my OnePlus 6?

Hello. Recently lost my Huawei P30 L29 phone and I'm trying to get one that has the same or better characteristics but with the same price. I can get a Huawei P30 used for 90-110€ and I'm willing to spend at most 150€. I read about the Xiaomi Redmi and Samsung A54 having similar characteristics, but I have not seen reviews that make them as appealing as the P30.
