>Today we'll show you a sneak preview of Windows 95! Plus we'll look at the competition - new Warp OS/2 from IBM and System 7.5 for the Apple Macintosh. Windows 95 and more, on this edition of the COMPUTER CHRONICLES!

Why can't technology be this exciting anymore?

>Windows 95
Turned out to be a buggy, crashy POS. Only became famous because MS threw billions at marketing and strong-armed OEMs over it, otherwise we would have all gone to NT 4.0.
>Warp OS/2(sic)
A tragic, but predictable, complete and utter failure.
>System 7.5
A bloated, buggy stopgap for a stopgap (MacOS 8) for an actual OS (Copland) that never got out the door.
Protip: the only reason you thought this shit was "exciting" was because you were (and probably still are) a child.

And before some faggot says buy an ad, that youtube hasn't been updated in 10 years. Someone just archived a bunch of old episodes. It's some of the comfiest viewing you'll ever witness.

It's also on archive.org in full interlaced SD video quality if you want to watch it in the most authentic way possible on an old CRT from the 80s.

I used to love how "abundant" everything was. You would buy software and it would come in a huge box, with a huge detailed manual with high quality pictures of everything you need to know. It would also come with certificates, and holographic stickers.

Same thing with games and any other type of media. Hell, even toys from cereal boxes or fast food slop were interesting and decent.

A shitty toy from back then would look like a fancy special edition product today.
This local supermarket would give kids "summer packs" whenever their parents would buy at least 20$ of goods there during summer vacation. It would come with materials to build a simple kite, an inflatable ball, a plastic boomerang and some beef jerky and candy.

Needless to say, such things do not exist anymore. Hell, some people pay premium prices for their slop. The average modern guy has no sense of quality or common sense.

We threw all of that away just so we could get everything made cheaper in the 3rd world. America completely destroyed itself for absolutely no reason.
