I doubt it. He's probably like any other mentally ill cockchopper, then was asked to politely leave. IIRC once the troonening hit he pretty much stopped appearing in videos and then left, I imagine Linus didn't want much exposure of that shit on his channel because no matter what you do you're likely to get fucked by engaging with it. There are large groups of people who will hate you no matter which side you pick so the intelligent decision is clearly to stay well away from such crap. I personally will not watch any videos with a you-know-what in it and I'm not the only one. I bet any video featuring Shrek performed at least 30-50% below expectations, and likely the entire channel took AoE damage.
