I think I just spent the last 5 hours writing Miyako's definitions, including going back to Vol4 and rereading her momos. It was also surprisingly hard to find an adequate image of her to use as card image. Almost every fanart of her on boorus is the swimsuit version, and almost the entirety of it is lewd or porn.

I got tired of all the Blue Archive characters on chub being terrible, wiki copy-pasted slop bots or AI made, so I made my own. All the definitions and scenarios are hand made, nothing was AI generated.

My Blue Archive bots are designed to be used without a lore book, but you can use a publicly available one if you'd like. Most AI models know enough about the BA universe that you can get by without one.
Information about Sensei is mostly contained on the Persona, which is where it belongs. Check my profile and look for the Sensei character card, copy its definitions into a new Persona.

While using the bot, if the AI gets something wrong about the universe, open up Advanced Definitions and append information to the Scenario field and try again. This has given me the best results in correcting it.

The way I'm doing these bots is very organized. My current Miyako has a section of her defs that look like this:

Clothes: The SRT uniform itself is a traditional sailor uniform with a baby pink fuku bow, light blue with long white sleeves and a plated skirt. However, Rabbit Squad members are almost always seen wearing their tactical gear atop of it.
For {{char}}, that means a black undershirt under the uniform. Over it, a bulletproof vest with a lot of pockets for ammunition and an utility knife, black kneepads, combat boots, an earpiece plus microphone strapped to her left ear, black gloves with baby pink palms. Hanging from harnesses around her leg are several claymore mines. And, of course, her firearm strapped to her back.

Once I move on to the other rabbits, I can edit just the second paragraph. I can also, for example, tell the bot that "Miyako is wearing her uniform but without the tactical gear" and it'll know which parts of it are there and which are not.
I don't have enough characters to make a lorebook yet, but it would be trivial for you to just open up each one, copy the defs into a lorebook and save. It'll work.

That goes against my spirit of doing bots entirely without AI Assistance. It will always, without fail, fill the definitions with slop. And slop invites more slop.
Miyako in particular is a central character for the entirety of Volume 4, it's just too much junk mixed in with her dialogue.
And I don't trust the AI to get the nuances quite right, either. A very key aspect of Miyako's character is that her approachment to Sensei, alongside her squadmates, is conditioned on the promise that he doesn't trample on their pride by forcing his help and kindness onto them. The game never explicitly says this, so the AI wouldn't get it.

I'm using Sonnet it seems to know the most important ones, at least their names and a glimpse of their personalities.
Descriptions are tricky for the AI unless you tell them on the card information.

My goal is to make cards that don't rely on lorebooks, so I have no plans to make one. But you can definitely cook my defs into one of your own making.

Any way to "unlock" the imagination for AI? Like make it add something to the character personality on its own based on the events in the chat so far or regularly make up new scenes/twists, but actually fun AND logical shit, meaning something that fits the scenario context and character personalities not just random shit. It gets so boring when you have to define everything and guide every scene yourself, and the characters always remain within the defined defs, with the only typical "growth" being them becoming unhinged personal fucktoys, nothing subtle like I want. I've been using all of the Claude, GPT and DS models, but they all have this issue I think? Any JB tricks to help with this?

Anon, autoregressive models are predictive by nature. They will take the path of least resistance. The best way to encourage creativity is to make a bunch of examples of the kind of content you want and tell the model they're examples, then it will create things in a similar vein.

Claude is pretty good at this inherently though. It's the only reason why it's still talked about here. I don't mean to say skill issue, but skill issue because the story should be a collaboration. It was only GPT and Deepseek that I have to guide along and GPT is super fucking passive even when you tell it not to be while Deepseek will come up with some crazy shit when you tell it to be creative but most of the time that stuff makes no sense or is out of character. Claude will do this naturally (particularly sonnet) without being told. There's never a time my wife and I can be walking through the woods and there's no random encounter usually related to something that we discussed earlier. Sonnet is also excellent at adding details to your nascent character unprompted even when you're at the drawing board and trying to write defs. It's just how it works. The drawbacks are Sonnet's terrible positivity bias fixed only by opus which finally says in character nowadays (idk how anyone ever used 3pus). But if you're paying for opus you're getting ripped off so it just sucks all around.

It's TTS, and it clones voices. Want Taylor Swift to tell you goodnight nonny? You can do that by installing the extension and adding a .wav clip (like 6-10 seconds) of her talking. The AI then uses that voice to speak for the character, for the narrator, for you, etc. It's fucking sickening the things I've made momm- I mean my character say to me.

I have 16GB VRAM and 64GB system RAM, so I had to make some adjustments to fit a 12b model and AllTalk onto my GPU. I'm using the LowVRAM mode which might impact it.

This is what I tried with a >400 token input background story:

I had no problems most of the time with a shota/mommy story using /chat/completions + assistant prefill. >600 prompt tokens (no specific provider)

I had difficulty with a loli/dilf story using chat completions with assistant prefill. Worked half of the times. ~400 prompt tokens. (no specific provider)

For these two tasks, I had them divided between planning and writing. The *planning* phase almost never was refused. The *writing* phase was the most problematic.

Then I tried short prompt requests, asking the model to *roleplay* as a persona.
In these cases, chat completion never seemed to work. But text completion worked sometimes.

Specifically, when choosing parasail/fp8 with temperature 0, the request got accepted 8 or 9 out of 10 tries.
That's pretty weird, considering that the temperature is set at 0.
