Liberal arts, social sciences, history etc. still qualify you for all kinds of white collar work, because finishing any kind of degree proves that you have above average reading comprehension etc. On the other hand many STEM graduates will find out that their degree is not worth much more either. Pure mathematics or physics without a practical application (engineering, data analysis) don't have a specific job market either.
