New model comes out, ComfyUI supports it. New technique comes out, ComfyUI supports it either natively or via a custom node.

my ideal would be a modular UI built from inputs (aka, ComfyUI) but composable such that you can link first-class UI layouts (think text box with autocomplete, sliders with configurable min-max) and wire that to a Comfy backend.
that way you could just download a workflow and get, out of the box, a beautiful presentation layer.
now this has its own heap of problems, insofar as you're now distributing entire frontends with inevitable stacks and stacks of their own UI library dependencies which turns a 14kb json into 14MB, it's an unworkable situation.
instead, having a suite of components with which users can configure their own frontends and these can be wired to arbitrary backends (think positive, negative prompt, CFG slider, image dimensions, steps, sampler, image output, etc.) which can then be glued to SDXL, FLUX, Chroma, whatever
that way you maximise reuse, as is almost certainly the intention.
I'd go a step further and refuse to couple frontends and backends for this exact reason, and instead set up an entirely separate repo and/or project that runs over the top of ComfyUI wait we're back at swarm again fuck

1- Generate main image composition and mood with some corpo model
2-controlnet with 0.4 with SDXL

In these steps, I change the samples, the denoice remover, and the Loras or prompts . If I want objects in the room or some kind of lighting, I add them in these steps, not in the main composition of the image. I also usually add Loras details with very low intensity or Artist Loras so that the checkpoint is authentic in the first step and the character or objetcs tags dont bleed

I was never impressed with chroma's anatomy errors. I also regened my images from high 30s to the latest release and the lighting was worse and the backgrounds were lower detail. I couldn't see any improvements. Shits fucked, oh well.

yep wan is the closest one to handling that prompt properly out of all the models i have tried.
but it does have some downsides vs chroma, namely:
-can only do very basic nsfw
-everything tends to have a slightly cinematic look because of how much video it was trained on
-slow af and speedup loras kill cfg / prompt adherence
-dogshit at text (debatable whether this is useful)
in terms of anatomy and coherence i think wan is best local at the moment, but chroma is more SOVL and style variety

in the end, whichever model the community rallies behind will win out, just like SDXL originally did

The Qwen-Image VAE is just a slightly fine tuned Wan VAE. And it's interesting to compare them.

Qwen-Image is clearly better at text, which is probably what they had in mind when they trained it. But it's also just overall smoother, and not in a good way. Look at the fabric. Wan looks basically the same as the original, but the details get noticeably smoothed over in the qwen version. I think I prefer Wan unless you specifically are trying to render small text, or maybe anime images with sharp lines.

put "--preview-method auto" in your .bat file to get previews with kijai's nodes. also i'm using these loras at 3.00 strength with the high model and 1.00 with the low to not get nipples that are absolutely horrific. not sure if that's the best way to do it but it seems to work:
