How do I seed on TL?

There's freeleech torrents but they have no peers, so I could leave that shit running for a day and it would upload like 30MB or something. It's already "warning" me I'm doing hit and run, but since these torrents were freeleech I still have 0.00B downloaded and 15GB uploaded kek.

Freeleech doesn't mean you don't need to seed. Just keep seeding until you have enough to seed back. If you have a fast connection the real solution is to jump on those torrents the second they go up because that's what most people are doing, sometimes automated. I like doing it manually because if you find a situation where there's like 5 or more freeleech torrents going up in a short period of time your i/o will get raped if you try to download them all and you will get little ROI.

Forgot to quote you after I corrected my post. It goes without saying that freeleech+seedbox = buffer printing machine. If you pay even for just a short period of time you can get a shitload of upload very fast just by jumping on those freeleech torrents. Once you have a lot of buffer you can hit and run all you want and clear it out with your upload credit.

It just doesn't make sense for these trackers to have more strict requirements for the invite forum considering most people getting in are likely coming from ranking up on RED. At that point why would anyone prioritize grinding on aither/bhd rather than simply continuing their journey on RED, where they've already made significant progress?

At least on cabal sites it's a cakewalk to get to the invite forum and that makes sense, they're at the top of the pyramid. ATH/BHD should be halfway up but they treat their users worse than RED.

They will ban you if you try to churn a ton of stuff, even if you're abiding by the HnR rules.
Upload a bit and also try to download frequently, but don't get to 2500 just by downloading.

For reference, there are about 15-20 autosnatchers that will grab anything you upload, so getting 2500 more torrents would require between 125 and 167 uploads. It would be even quicker if you manage to upload content people actually want to watch.

The bulk of what I upload to RED is singles. There are so many artists where I have single-handedly built out their back catalog of singles. I almost never get more than one download per single, and these are "perfect" FLACs. RED is not serious about archival, they only care about ensuring the latest, most popular slop like Beyonce is seeded. If I got run over by a bus tomorrow a very large number of singles would vanish from RED due to no seeds.

Well I use both OPS and RED so I can tell you that's not true. RED has attracted more quality users. It has a deeper catalog. OPS is easier to survive on if you seed a bunch of garbage. But I still need to cross reference with RED to get everything I want. Your idea is already implemented on OPS. You can go there and refuse to upload or use RED if you want. If you think all modern music is slop you'll probably think it's fine because all the boomer music is already there.

No, the invite forums just make the most sense on music tracker. Imagine if cabal required 500 torrent uploads on a mid tier movie tracker. It wouldn‘t take too long until the mid tier had more movies than the top tier.
Music just works differently than Gayms, movies and TV. There is way more music to be uploaded. The number of users who climb the ladder is minuscule compared to how many users these sites have. Most prolific uploaders are already waay past the point of TM and they still upload. Because they want to.
