It's obviously never acceptable socially, morally or otherwise for anyone to rape anyone, let alone a minor. Period.
I will give you an actual example of why it's bad though just from something I saw recently:
>some girl posts a video titled something like:
>making lunch for my working husband(21) as a 19 year old mother of a three year old
Lets get this out of the way:
So these two had a teen pregnancy when they were in high school(this is not good).
But it happens some small percentage of the time, and has gone down by a massive amount in the last few years(this is good that it is trending down towards zero)
They apparently stayed together, father is working to provide for his family(on the surface at least this seems better than the alternative of her being a single mother at 19).
Without any more information other than that, a massive, massive amount of the comments were calling this guy a pedo. Implying to anyone who knows what the word actually means that this working father providing for his partner and child somehow has a paraphilia of being attracted to prepubescent children.
Does that make any sense? Does he deserve this social stigma for a mistake he made as a minor despite seemingly "doing the right thing"?
I don't know their local laws, but I don't think accidental teenage pregnancies are illegal.
However, if you say he broke the law and what he did was statutory rape as a minor under their local jurisdiction then I'm not going to argue that he should get a free pass or something, laws should be followed.
Suppose I or some other person has the opinion that someone should get the death penalty for raping a toddler. Now you have a case where you're grouping in such a large amount of people with something that is so extreme on one end of the spectrum, with examples like above(while not something to be sought after) actually happen, and that couple has to live their adult life with their child with this fabricated stigma because of this.
