>they're the reason Mastercard and Visa are now so anti-adult content on the internet.
No they're not. It's "christian" concern groups and they do it to literally fucking everyone. However it's usually targeted at anything remotely LGBT or what they deem to be immoral or unjust. That includes video games, the government or pornography.
It's not just the US that the loons do it in either, it's done in the UK, Europe. Any time one of your liberties or something in the media comes under attack, they're right behind it.
Tale as old as time.
Visa and Mastercard just capitulated to them because they're weak and American. Their actual concern is that if they didn't comply they'd be shat by anti-trust since what they pulled in the US, Europe etc was close to monopolistic. Because again, these mental muppets complain to everyone about everything, they'd simply turn their suggestions on Mastercard & Visa supporting it and ALSO mentioning their monopolistic practices as payment processors.
If there's one thing you should learn from this: Even if you agree with one thing that someone insane says, if they're going for one piece of liberty, there's always more they want. Don't capitulate to the insane.
