For me, it's mainly the keyboard keyhoard I need to start selling off (or throwing away in the case of stupid thrift store picks that aren't hidden gems). I've settled into a core list I know I'll make regular use out of:

>RealForce R3S, as a general backup board or when I need a board and don't feel like disconnecting the above boards

But most everything else has to go. I need the room more than anything else, and I don't use or even show off other boards enough/at all to warrant keeping them anymore.

There's actually also a ps3 and ps4 controller out of sight. They're mostly here because they go with the consoles and idk where else I'd put them atm.
I've hooked some of the consoles up to the smaller screen, so I can play on that.
I think if I built a nice TV cabinet to put them all under, then I could move them out of my room and clear up my desk and then just pick and choose one at a time if I really wanted to play something in my room.

This. Maybe it's just the modern day, but in my late 20s and now 30s, my buddies who we used to play splitscreen with just don't wanna come over any more. Some left the country, some don't even have anything to play online with any more and a bunch of them have kids and never want to do anything any more.

As for the chair, Gesture is available for 920-950, should I just buy that and never look back?

Desk is more difficult. A lot of options, a lot of garbage. SC Ology used from offices are available between 300-600 depending on condition but idk..
Otherwise I've been looking at FlexSpot E7Q and Inwerk Masterlift Flex, both are 600-950 depending on configuration.

Guys, I have been going back and forth on having this type of desk (but with a nicer top) in my living room in the apartment where I live.

Pros:
-can work at home when it's too hot in office apartment or when I dont feel like going there like in the weekend


Cons:

I had ordered it impulsively nearly 2 weeks ago as there was a 200 buck flash discount and I had been playing with the idea for months. They still have not delivered, some incompetency and negligence issues at play on the logistics end. This gave me time to truly think it through rationally. It's not about the money though, I felt that the desk frame was fairly priced with the discount. It's the cost of:
-dealing with potential disappointment and bullshit if it's a bad unit (happened twice with ergolutions)
-effort of disassembling current table and assembling new table
-storage for old table

Having high standards is indeed a curse in disguise. I have ordered and returned at least 10 bibles in the past year. All of them arriving with minor shipping and handling induced damage. I finallly caved and ordered a 200 bucks bible last week. It arrived in flawless condition, 100% irreproachable, even after surgical inspection of the smallest details.
