A big image resolution gives you space to work with. Using tags like scenery and wide shot to set up the scene and proportions, tagging lots of nature things like trees, mountains, forest, etc with some enviromental tags like sunset/starry night. The more you detail the environment the more everything comes together

Just read this so sorry to barge in, for me there is nothing like inpainting manually, tailoring the tags to what you need. Takes time but not having the environment tags lowering the quality of the character inpaint make a difference and sometimes you have to turn off/on certain camera/lighting tags.
Here is a comparison where I only inpainted the character:
1st is the base 1536px gen, 2nd is upscale to 2034px and 3rd is inpainting the character alone at 1536px.
I try to inpaint elements at a higher tier than their size (768>1024>1536>2034) So if I gotta inpaint some small background item I go 768, but a character of 1300px in height I go for 1536.
Thats at least my method, any thoughts? I'm going with more vibes than science

What are your go to checkpoints or loras for generating men? I'm asking because it feels like 99% of the models on CivitAI are for 1girl. It's rare to find dedicated checkpoints or Loras for 1boy.

Those were generated on NoobAI v-pred 1.0.
It knows quite a bit of styles and characters, but be aware that it is difficult to get good backgrounds with it.
Also it is much more rigid about how you are supposed to prompt it than many other SDXL based models.

I haven't really had too much trouble with this honestly. Yeah they prioritize female characters while finetuning, but it should be able to gen men still fine if it knows the character or if you are using a lora.
I prompt more 1girl thAn 1boy, but I haven't had too many issues getting men on random pony and illustrious finetunes.
If you share a specific example of failed male gen, I may try to help about what went wrong.

Yep seems great from what I am seeing.
One last test for flexibility, try to see if you can change character details.
A gen where she has massive watermelons.
A gen where she has black hair and red eyes.
At this point lowering LORA strength a little to achieve these is acceptable but it should still be able to do those around 0.7-0.8 ideally.

Good job on the training, the Loral. But since idk the character, it's impossible to tell if it's a good representation or a heavily overbaked OC.

Don't worry about editing models, they're total meme tier. I tried using one to open a character's closed eye and it completely fucked up the whole face composition. When it opened in another prompt swipe the eye design was totally different style. Complete waste of time but at least it's free and quickly.

Just a note, the model used is not available yet. I plan on releasing it in the near future.
