I would love to, in fact I've been considering it heavily. But there are many caveats.
My work requires you to install their app using a smartphone. Concert/Train tickets are virtual now an exclusive to smartphones. My college has a required 2 step verification using a smartphone app

The world runs on smartphones and there's no going back. If I get a dumbphone I have to also keep a smartphone handy just in case.
